Topic: Error when loading fortnite

When loading into Fortnite I get kicked out at the last minute with a error message saying

The software was closed because an error occurred

With an exclamation mark on top

Any ideas ?

I’ve deleted, re downloaded, restarted, fixed any bugs etc

Looking at Epic Games Fortnite support site now, there's a pop-up at the top of the page that says they're currently dealing with a large number of inquiries & may take longer to reply. I dont know if that message is common, or an idicator that they know there's a bug. (Side note: When I emailed fortnite tech support a few years ago, they replied in less than 3 hours, which is repectable.)

If you get a Switch error code, you can plug the code into nintendo support's search bar to find out what they mean.

I’m also getting this since the update, I’ve worked out it must have something to do with my epic login as my daughter can open her Fortnite on the switch fine.. I’ve tried going through epic for help but in order to speak to the support team you need to be signed in and I’m struggling to do that, if I press continue with switch login it briefly signs me in then comes up with an error..I’ve tried redownloading as well.hope it gets sorted soon
