Topic: Does Overcooked work with the NES and or SNES classic controler?

Hello all,

I have been thinking about what other games I could use the SNES Classics controller on, my wife and I are fans of the overcooked series and I am wondering if the SNES classic controllers work on the Overcooked games?

We tried joycons but they seem a little bit small and if you have guests some of our friends would struggle with the small single joycons.

I play a bit of SNES classic games on the nso but really, it would be used more for overcooked switch edition, overcooked 2 and when we get it the new one, I would also like to know if anyone has tried it of it or the N64 classic controller work on it, or if not what controls you recommend? N64 is a bit of a after thought as well availability... But I do love the N64.

I'm pretty sure that you can't because Overcooked uses the joystick to move. I'm not 100 percent sure though, you can try it out with 2 Joy-Con and use the d-pad to see if it works.

They’re mainly made for the NES/SNES games, but I think you still can play with them on other games, they just don’t have the home or screenshot button.

Here’s an article about it, hopefully it helps: https://kotaku.com/switchs-new-nes-controllers-do-more-than-y...
