does anyone know how to unlink a child nintendo account from a switch user? without deleting the user or its data from the switch

I've tried deleting the child account, doesn't work
I've tried unlinking it from the switch, but it doesn't show the option

Try going to https://accounts.nintendo.com/family on your computer or mobile device.
You can manage your family group from there, for the purposes of things like Nintendo Switch Online membership family plans, setting up parents, or making accounts supervised for restricting certain activities (e.g. parental controls).

@gazo What is your goal or problem? Do you want an adult nintendo account?

After a switch user and nintendo account have been linked/merged, I don't think you can decouple them. However, if that was a child account created without it's own email address, I think you can assign an email address to it, and I think that may turn it into an adult account. I'm not certain of this, but I think I've seen people mention they've done it. I've just never done it myself.

I think this is best left to Nintendo Support to answer since they would have to look into what is happening here.
