My nephew is getting a regular Switch this year for Christmas and I am trying to find a protective case that will guard against bumps and small drops that will still fit into the dock station. Also looking for a carry case/bag that it will fit into. Putting a glass screen protector on it right away also...
Obviously the idea here is to fit a cased Switch into a dock and also be able to carry it around in a zippered carry case/bag without having to remove the Switch from the protective case.
It just seems like all the zippered cases are formed around a naked Switch and that dock seems tight, too.
I'd like to only hear from people who actually own the cases they recommend. Thanks.
The Gripcase would be one if they dock and protects the case. For the screen would be any Temper Glass protector from scratches or breaks. I use the Gripcase and Temper glass two very good product for Switch.
@SwitchForce The Skull & Co one? That is precisely what I’m looking for and it comes with a carry case too. Do you know if they happen to make one without skulls on the zipper pulls or can they be taken off?

Yes that one I was KS supporter and it works great for carry and protection. AFAIK it comes with the two skull zipper. You could remove it I think but it a nice accessory to have just don't eat them.
