@Reignmaker They are tied to the account, not the console. You can just only have one system active on the same account. If you deactivate your current Switch from your account, you can activate another Switch and play on that.

"If you want to move your digital games to a different system, you can deactivate your current console, then use your Nintendo Account to access the Nintendo eShop on the new console. The new console will automatically become the active console for your Nintendo Account, and all of your digital games can be played on the new system."

@sr_388 Thanks for sharing! That's better than I thought, but still not exactly convenient. Still, I might opt for full-on digital if that's the case.

I just had a quick look on Amazon for Micro SD storage cards. £150.00 for 256 GB. OMG that is not going to cut it. My Xbox One 500GB HDD could barely keep up with year one downloads. Trust me you get 5 top first party games with DLC and the SD card AND internal memory will be maxed.

For my Xbox One I invested in a 2TB external HDD and it works great. But for the switch (which I can't buy yet) I am going 100% physical. Even 3DS I went all digital. Until the storage prices go way down there is no practical way to do it.
