Topic: Buying a used physical copy of Minecraft

I was wondering if I were to buy a used physical copy of Minecraft, will I be able to update the game to the current version that allows me to play online with my pc friends?

Of course you STILL Able to update your Minecraft save data regardless your cartridge is new or used.
