Looks like Nintendo contracted Koei Tecmo for more than Age of Calamity. Releasing in January (Japan only at the moment), Buddy Mission: BOND is an adventure/detective visual novel a la the Ace Attorney series.

Just found out about this game today while browsing Japanese eShop. Looks very interesting but I'm not sure how it actually plays. I hope it gets translated.

It appears to be a mashup of several genres. Board game, visual novel, puzzle, and adventure. Using different combinations of the four investigators may result in different outcomes from mission to mission? It looks pretty dope. I just hope it doesn't remain languishing as a Japan exclusive.
