I had to factory reset my switch months ago and lost my island (I know I could have used the back-up, but I kinda wanted to reset anyway) and am finally getting around to start playing again—just in time for the holidays! I’m actually excited...

@BrittGOAL14 @MarioLover92 Blathers wasn't particularly impressed that I caught every fish...but I am! Nowhere near catching all of the bugs, but I've always preferred fishing anyway.

@horizonisland RIP to your old island, but restarting games can be fun in their own way. At least you can plan your perfect town from scratch (if you're into that kind of thing).

@Kimyonaakuma Yes I AM into that sort of thing and that’s why I was fine with restarting. Congrats on the completed fish museum!

Thank you both so much for helping me with my museum. Only now that it’s filling up a little faster I registered how much Redd annoyed me. Until now I had very bad luck with him with either having all fake art or only one real picture which was in 90% of the cases one of the five pieces I already had. And close to never he has any statues.
Usually I have way more patience with the collectibles in the game but in this case there wasn’t any progress for months and that was hard. Thx again

@Cosmofantasmo Redd was the reason I created a 2nd character on my island, sometimes he would show up with 3 pieces I needed and due to his restriction of 1 per day I would have to leave 2 behind. It helped a lot being able to buy 2 per visit rather than just 1. Lately I have gotten a few pieces of art from my villagers and also through this forum.
What art do you still need?
