Please can someone tell me, if I get 2 nintendo switches, and get nintendo online 1 family account (the most expensive one, whatever it is called) can both nintendo switches play Super mario world (snes) from classic catalog, at the same time, on the same home internet network?

If not, how could both switches play super mario world at the same time?

This is make or break for whether i get my children 2 nintendo switches or not.

Thank you

The family subscription gives you the right to share your online benefits with up to 7 other user accounts (for a total of 8 including yours).

Basically you can set up individual accounts for your family members, add them all to your “Family Group”, and so, as long as each person is using their own profile on either switch, they should have no problems using the same Nintendo Classics app at the same time, because they each will have their “own” subscription.

Thank you, so I would need to buy 2 separate online accounts or just 1? My kids will definitely want to play the same game from the classic catalog at the same time.

@Jeffvader if you already have a family subscription, all you need to do set up individual accounts for each kid and add them to your family group. No extra purchases required.

But do keep in mind that this is only valid for the Nintendo Classics apps and other apps included with the subscription. If they have other digital games, they can share digital game cards, but they wont be able to play the same titles at the same time- think of it as if each digital purchase is its own little cartridge they have to pass around to play.
