Take note of the two PDF files halfway down the page. One for games on start up and another for in-game performance. Lots of games with issues. Although the issues vary greatly it seems.
To be fair, the lists constitute maybe less than 2% of the overall Switch library.
Given the amount of games impacted (very small amount), they are still testing/working on it, it seems pretty standard unless you happen to primarily own the problem games. (At which point I would suggest hold on to your switch a little longer.)

In the name of Game Progression there will be looser and winners in the game system. This is why I will keep my OLED around for that reason. Sure I will have Switch OLED and Switch 2 to play exclusive Switch 2 games and Switch v1 that can upgrade. This will be most likely will happen to alot of Switch owners whom are financially able to do this. So I will be basically doing the Switching (pun) between Switch OLED and Switch 2. It won't look pretty if I travel I will have two consoles and carry their games with me.
At least with the first party games, most of the issues seem to resolve about the requirement for OG Joy-Cons or the physical size of the Switch. They've been known problems for anyone wanting to play these games on a Lite, so are no big deal. That everything else seemingly just works is good news.
The sheer quantity of third-party games was always going to present a problem though, and just testing them all, let alone making any necessary fixes, is going to take a lot of time. I'd note that only about 20% of the library seems to have had "basic" gameplay testing yet. The rest were just started up, so this list is presumably going to grow when they try to play them. Seeing as I doubt anyone at Nintendo is going to play every single game end-to-end, new ones could still be popping up years from now.
I suspect that big sellers like Doom Eternal and Fitness Boxing are going to get priority when it comes to fixes. For games that can't be made to work that way, there's always the possibility of making a Switch 2 Edition, and Fortnite is already going down that route.

I'm honestly really worried about this. The list currently has around 200 games. However they seem to have focused on more major games first (logically) which I would guess are also less likely to break. So 1,000 plus (200*5) partially broken games could end up as multiple thousand. As someone who owns hundreds of small indie games and was hoping to retire Switch 1 and just use Switch 2, this suddenly feels like a nightmare.
So going down the list I have a few games that are listed as don't boot. Jackbox games and Rocket League. Honestly the former concerns me a bit more than the later given I can always go elsewhere for Rocket League and the Jackbox games are a games night staple I'd like to continue to have on hand. On the compatibility issues list I don't think I have any of these games on Switch. This isn't too bad TBH
You have to remember, these games aren't running natively. Technically they're not even emulating them. This is an API translation layer so some things will break. All things considered this isn't bad at all and, frankly, is about in-line with what we saw from XB and PS when they did similar things on their platforms
