I think that rumored Wario Land game is probably real, based on the fact that they perfectly predicted other games, so I could easily see that. It's also believable because it seems like Warioware completely underwhelmed on Switch, for whatever reason and after Pizza Tower it feels like the right time to bring back Wario Land. Feels like the somewhat normal Switch bump of sales numbers did absolutely nothing for Warioware and I genuinely don't know why.

But the only of their really huge selling games I could see being announced this year is either a new Luigi's Mansion or maybe a new Mario Maker. Tbh, Mario Kart DLC would probably be bigger than any believable early 2027 game.

Wario Land would be interesting because it's been so long since we've had a Wario platformer of any kind (the last one was Shake It/The Shake Dimension on the Wii in 2008), that would be yet another example of them relying on a series that didn't exist on Switch 1. Of course my preference would be to tease a big 3D Mario or Luigi's Mansion 4, but if the big "one more thing" announcement was a new Wario Land? That might actually be hype enough to end with even though that's probably not going to sell well either.

The other, less interesting possibility if they're revealing something for 2027 might be Metroid Ravenous. Based on the ratings board leak a reveal feels imminent, it seems like they're either going to sneak it in this year or it's going to land early next year. Between the game seemingly being close to release and already having leaked, that might be a good candidate for September if they are in fact holding a mainline Direct.
