Topic: Nintendo Today App

Has anyone played the Kirbys Star Fortune in the app??! it just tells you a daily fortune, and its really cute! (and sometimes not when it says youre doomed…). nintendo today does a good job of making me check the app for cool stuff like this everyday.

I did once and immediately it said I was Void Termina. Apparently, crushing galaxies is in my future lol.

There's a lovely video that's just popped up on the app of Charles Martinet answering some questions about him and Mario.

The first of four videos have been released (so he's done 10/40 questions) and while there aren't any revelations of any kind, it's still a very wholesome watch!

@squiddu-real I'm 90% sure there's gonna be another Mario Movie Direct next week so Miyamoto will probably make a song and dance of it then!

you can watch trailers, look at posters, and get a collectible card every day that has some small tidbits and clips of games the character appeared in.

(if you get all 40, you get "slightly more info". wowza.)

Is it just me or does Nintendo Today no longer work on any Chromebook laptop anymore? When you boot the app it immediately says that "An unknown error has occurred, restarting app now." and then it just loops this process over and over with no way to fix this. The same thing happens on my mother's Chromebook as well. I'm hoping this is an issue on Nintendo's end that will eventually get fixed...

Yep, Pictonico! looks like WarioWare minus Wario and that's fine by me. The fact Intelligent Systems appears in the copyright seemingly confirms it.

Some things of note from the Pictonico website that I found:

*Purchase of a game volume is required for gameplay, but you can play a demo of some minigames for free.
*A constant online connection is not required, but temporary network access may be needed for the following operations, which may incur data charges:
・First launch
・Purchasing game volumes

I believe this is actually the first Nintendo mobile app that doesn't constantly require a constant internet connection, aside from Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete maybe?

You can download Nintendo Music tracks and use the app offline.

Also, I don't think Hello Mario ever requires internet.

@N00BiSH i'm not even a fan, but i appreciate having another theme for the app to randomly cycle through. it also covers another color, so that helps it stand out! seeing this deep blue every once in a while will be pleasant.
