Topic: Pokemon Announcement for 6-17-20

I wonder what they'll announce. Possibly a diamond and pearl remake could be announced! I want to see what you guys think.

Pokémon releases something every year, and I don’t think there will be a whole presentation about a game coming in 2021. I don’t think they’ll announce a new game, but maybe reveal more info about The Crown Tundra?

I HOPE that it is a Diamond and Pearl remake on the Switch. I would love to revisit those areas and see them reimagined on a modern console.

One thing that I hope they don't do, but they certainly might, is continue the "Let's Go" line of games and take the players back to Johto in the same style as Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. They were good games, but they didn't quite click for me, that's just me though. I don't think that they'd start a new line of games and just abandon it, but stranger things have happened.

I kind of hope that they just blindside us with something new and crazy and I love it when they spice up the Pokemon IP, with games like Pokken Tournament and Pokemon Conquest. No matter what they show, I'm excited to see what it is.

@Quinny Yeah, Let's Go isn't my favorite style of pokemon. I hope maybe they'll reveal something about old pokemon games coming to the switch ( and maybe some Pokemon 3DS games too)

@Dark_Magician I hope that it's a big reveal instead of more information on the DLC. That may just be me wishing upon a star, but I'd be happy with just a title reveal haha. I don't even need gameplay to be happy. I'd be fine just knowing what they're working on. I could be wrong, but I think the only thing they've confirmed they're working on right now is the DLC, so I hope it's some more information.

It’s about time we saw something of Detective Pikachu 2, but what I’d really like to see is something offbeat like a new Pokemon Conquest.

Unlikely that it's a new mainline game/remake/whatever. They have DLC planned for this year, and they're not going to announce a holiday 2021 game.
