Topic: Can someone give me the layman's explanation for Club Nintendo please?

Ok so I'd never bothered with Club Nintendo. I had no idea what it was and didn't care.
Then I see it's closing down and there are various games being offered for club nintendo coins. I've got plenty of the unused pin codes from games so I figured I'd register.
Now I've done that, I see hardly anything worth while in the stars catalogue for the UK version. Are all of the games just available for the US or something?
Or do the rewards change over time? I really don't care about a t-shirt or ringtones.

Rewards vary by region, and yeah, that gigantic list of digital games is US/Canada only. That should be the final list though, as it's shutting down in a couple months. I don't think there will be any more rewards added.

It's only for NA as of right now, but it's possible closer to shut down in the UK that they'll have a blowout sale like NA.
