Topic: Brand new Switch OLED's screen is slightly raised on the right side.

I bought a brand new white Switch OLED yesterday and just noticed now that the right side of the screen is very slightly raised from the bezel instead of being completely flush like the left side. I would take a picture, but it's never gonna be noticeable on camera, I can only notice it if I feel it with my thumb or if I look really closely enough.

I can push it down and it would stay flush for a few minutes before it starts to slightly raise again. It doesn't seem to be heat related because I left the Switch OLED on its own in sleep mode in an air conditioned room, the screen still raised after I pressed it down.

I did some research and apparently, this was a common issue with the original Switch, but I can't seem to find anything about it on the Switch OLED except for one other Reddit post.

From what I could gather, this is very common and I'm safe to just live with it without sending it out for warranty.

Do you guys have any advice? If I get a peace of mind that this is normal and nothing to worry about, I can easily live with it.

@Lipiah1966 If you just bought it, you could return & exchange it. That might be easier to do if you bought at a physical retail store. (a possible perk of buying at a local store)

@WoomyNNYes I might actually have to, but the problem is that the store I bought this from is super far away. This very well may as be a cosmetic issue because the elevation of the screen is so miniscule. Also, I doubt the person at the store will even notice what I'm talking about or even consider it worthy of a replacement because it really is just almost undetectable. My OCD is probably just making it worse than it is.

Judging from my research, this might be a common issue that not everyone has noticed with their own OLEDs yet saved for a few I have found online.

But I will definitely try to get it replaced when I could before the warranty expires.

Also, I want to note that my white OLED could have been from the first batches of OLEDs that were made that only got stocked up at the store recently. I heard this was an issue that was pretty common in 2021.
