I need help! I bought my daughter animal crossing for switch. She has been playing on my sons switch for a couple months. After some time I bought her a switch lite. Can I get her saved island over to hers. The game is a as card not downloaded. Was hoping to just pop it in but wants to start over.

@Lplandman Unfortunately, Animal Crossing New Horizons cannot be transferred to another console. And it's a major disappointment for everyone that discovers it. There is fine print on the game's eshop page & the games physical case, which is too easy to miss. Nintendo says it plans on putting out an update to allow transferring game progress to another console, but no date has been announced. I think they said by the end of 2020.

If I purchase a second system, can I transfer the save file (island data) to a different console?

Animal Crossing: New Horizons does not support the ability to transfer your save file from one Nintendo Switch system to another.

@Lplandman You can always just let her keep.the Switch she's using and give her brother the Switch Lite.
