Yes. I haven't played the original, but I'll bet you that there are people out there who hold the classic up just because it's the original older title, regardless of whatever improvements the remake has.

Headphones, though I might be more inclined to give earbuds another shot if they would stop slipping out of my ears. I hear Raycon earbuds are good for that, but such compliments were offered by YouTubers promoting their sponsors, so I don't know how reliable that opinion is...

Christmas or Halloween?

Both are great, but I much prefer the warmth and cosiness that comes with Christmas. Sticking up the tree, pulling crackers together and listening to some Christmas-themed music by the fire, it's all wonderful stuff. I actually stuck on a Christmas-themed Nintendo music playlist around that time of year whilst chipping away at schoolwork and it was wonderfully relaxing honestly.
