After having to wait months and letting my hair grow out for a wedding haircut, tomorrow I am FINALLY going back to my schedule of shaving my hair off every couple months. I just like feeling the cool breeze on my scalp.
@Professor_Plumber I wouldn't mind a Yo-Kai Watch collection on Switch either. Unfortunately, I find it somewhat unlikely due to how the series never really took off outside of Japan. As for Dragon Quest, there are a handful of spinoff series along with some one-off games, some of which never left Japan. I'd like a shot at the other Slime MoriMori titles - we only ever got the second game, Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime - and I wish the earlier DQ Monsters games were more accessible.
@MarioLover92 I'm now bopping around the Akkala region after activating its tower last night, though I had a head start on a couple shrines in the area before that. Still need to explore some of the sky islands and have yet to make my way over to Tarrey Town. Currently at 24 hearts! It's a shame WarioWare: Twisted! is so expensive....Guessing it's due to the specialized cartridge.
Those games you mentioned are also fun. I never was good at badminton, but I wasn't too bad at tennis. My school wasn't really big enough to have a team for it though. I would've had to join a summer league and didn't really care enough to.
I admittedly used restore points when playing through the Blazing Blade. Not that I haven't played a Fire Emblem "properly" - that honor goes to the DS port of Shadow Dragon. I was careful and did reset battles/mistakes up until I think chapter 21 or 22...then I kept getting steamrolled by ballistae. I spent hours one night resetting until finally giving up and accepting that I'd lose at least two units. I was beyond tired/fed up by then.
@EaglyPurahfan I don't really get the obsession with Purah TBH, she's a fine character. But to each their own I guess. XD Thanks, just under three weeks until I leave for my trip. I have most of my supplies gathered...now just for the packing.
TotK is keeping me beyond busy. I want to finish it before my trip, but it's looking less likely that I will. At least I'm done with the more story-driven main quest. Though I'm nowhere near done with some of the other main quests and some side adventures. I've heard almost nothing but praise about the Yakuza series, especially Yakuza 0, so I'm glad you're enjoying it. I've mostly been constrained by platform and time (or lack thereof it seems), but it's another series I'd also like to get into eventually. If it's on PC I still have a chance once I get a decent system. Now protecting Michael Jackson from zombies, I could get behind lol. I've also heard good things about Stick of Truth, though I'm not a South Park fan. On Dragon Quest Builders 2: I was aware I was probably opening a can of worms. XD I'm not finished with the demo yet, but I'm surprisingly enjoying it despite not being a huge fan of Minecraft.
All good Disney movies you mentioned, though I confess I've yet to watch Coco but want to. Pixar has some really good standalone films, though I haven't been very interested in much they've put out recently besides Turning Red (haven't seen that one either). I've always liked Spiderman, not my absolute favorite hero but still one of the best ones out of Marvel IMO. I prefer the second Deadpool movie, but both are pretty good. As for the DCAU when you get to it, start with Batman: The Animated Series first. The shows are best watched roughly in chronological syndication order. Totally fine watching the ancient form of anime first though.
I'm trying to gradually play what are objectively the "best" mainline Kirby games. So I can't say I've played Star Allies. I've heard it's alright, it just plays things safe. Some Zelda games definitely have stronger stories than others. BotW's felt fairly weak compared with other recent series entries, but Nintendo was keen to emphasize the open world aspects. I'm waiting on Skyward Sword for Switch. My Wii copy is still perfectly fine, and many Nintendo published games don't see deep discounts often. To be fair to A Link Between Worlds, I feel its story is a bit stronger (though still not award-winning) compared to the beloved A Link to the Past, which I also like. I like nearly all the mainline Zelda games I've played - Tri Force Heroes is the sole exception - though some have more strengths than others. I always took JRPG = Japanese RPG. Typically those with turn-based combat. the Xenoblade titles are more what I'd term ARPGs. Yes, XCX needs to come to the Switch or a platform that isn't the poor Wii U. That amazing game is begging for a wider audience.
I fully expected that to also show up as some sort of DLC or NG+ bonus after the fact, but so far I've seen nothing about this unless it's so rare that almost nobody has ran across it. The more I think about it, the more I want it to be true lol. Sena could've certainly used a little more screen time. Same with Lanz; his Ascension quest more had to do with those three old childhood "friends". To the game's credit, I did wonder what happened to them since they popped up in more than one flashback. Shania is certainly a victim of circumstance. She made her own choices but after all she went through, can she really be blamed? Ghondor and Monica definitely have a rough relationship, but there's still some love there. I agree it could've been explored better. Shania's death scene (Well, the first one) is certainly up there with "Disturbing Xenoblade Moments".
I'm sure I'd like the MGS series, but I'm not the most interested in the setting and it's more a question of time (or lack thereof). Super Mario Bros. Wonder feels like a breath of fresh air for the portly plumber's 2D escapades; the "New" games were starting to feel quite old. I've wanted to try the Dragon Quest Monsters spinoff series for ages; it's been around since the GBC, but not all the games released over here. Plus the ones that did make it out of Japan are fairly expensive even secondhand. Though I'd consider the first Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker game somewhat affordable, but supposedly the second one is even better.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
But what if the first time you heard it was at your cousin's dance recital (I think it was a recital, I was like 8, don't blame me) and that was the first time you heard it? As a child, you liked to dance and twice you and your cousin tried dancing to that song, you called the song honey honey honey song because you didn't know the title, and old iPhones were hard to read from far away.
