I really enjoyed playing Epic Chef PS4 during Eid-ul Fitr holiday on this week. Playing for straight 3 hours was still not enough as I have to turn off my PS4 Slim after playing for 3 hours. I still curious to see what will be next as there were a lot of things to do to clear the optional and main quest to continue the storyline.
I have Unicorn in my farm to get its Pinky Poo poo for cooking ingredients (Eww...), Giant Spider for spider web and its flesh for Cooking Battle with Chef Anzashi, still making money from Ghostatoes (Potato + 2 Evil Mandragora), fishing on the beach for rare fishes with better flavor points and bigger synergy points.
I have discovered a dish with more than 300 Sophistication points by making from Erwin Fruit + Legendary Crab (+ 25 Sophistication & x 2.5 Sophistication) + Triclopus (x 3.4 Sophistication).
I need to prepare some ingredients to battle with Chef Anzashi for the next mission.
Are Nintendo Gold point (/game) code generators legal? I've seen as of recently more are popping up and are somewhat legit from what the odd chats say. I'm not looking to use one, just wanted to ask since there are quite a few now.
Seems like Nintendo might want to do something about this.
@Eel Ya that's what I was thinking. I gonna see if I can report them.
This sentence with your current pfp is the best coincidence in history.
But yeah, avoid those ads at all cost, they only want your money. How did you find these ads in the first place if I might ask? Was it as ads on the side of a website (like some of the ones on NLife) or as a scam email or something?

Just like to add that the only way to get My Nintendo Gold points is by either registering a physical game within the first year of release via the Switch menu, or by buying games on the eShops for Switch, Wii U, and 3DS (the latter two add gold points to my My Nintendo account too).
They never get used as codes AFAIK. Codes were used for Club Nintendo during the Wii and DS days, and included with the games and systems. Yeah, those are fake, avoid them.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy When they finally got it working, it's really good. It'll be handy if we ever get a big plot related character like N again with only one letter. They won't have to give away that they have a very short name, indicating who they might be. It's wonderful honestly

Happy Star Wars Day folks! May the 4th be with you!
@Sunsy All appears to be well; looks like Ant worked his magic!
@TheJGG Haha, don't sweat that long reply; in fact, it's been so long that I'll need to refresh myself on the finer points! I'm not really interested in the Doctor Strange movie, but I didn't know that interesting nugget about its banning. It isn't the first banned film, and I doubt it'll be the last.
Also, yes, the Fantastic Beasts franchise, outside of the excellent first film, is meant more for diehards than anything else. The lore for Newt Scamander and Porpentina is there; the books cite Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them as an in-universe book along with the magical creatures it profiles, plus I own the companion book that Rowling created for charity (along with Quidditch Through The Ages) back around the time Goblet of Fire hit stores. Plus, Dumbledore and Grindelwald's relationship is a focal point of Deathly Hallows. Though not the romantic nature of it; I believe that was divulged in a later interview. Past that established information, much of what goes on in the FB films is pure invention. The films have given us some fun lore IMO, such as the Obscurus and more Wizarding schools such as Ilvermorny.
@BruceCM Yep! I already own the game, but it isn't top priority in ye olde backlog pecking order right now.
@MarioLover92 The Layton games are primarily on the DS and 3DS, but I believe the first three games (most of the DS entries outside of Last Specter) are also on mobile platforms. Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy is also part of the series - she's allegedly Layton's adopted daughter - and is available on 3DS, Switch, and mobile. That's the only one of the bunch I haven't played yet outside of the spinoffs. I'd love for the rest of the series to come to the Switch, but with Level-5 no longer publishing outside of Japan, I find that increasingly unlikely.
I think I've seen that AVGN video on Day Dreamin' Davey, but my memory is foggy. Didn't he basically roast the game?
I loved the backlit screen on my GBA SP; no more camping out by my night light for some late night gaming! That brings back memories similar to the "Gamer" mode in both Game & Wario and WarioWare Gold....
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@Sunsy Ah, gotcha. Yeah that's understandable, I got Super Mario Land 1 and 2 from the 3DS VC for a similar reason. My original cartridges can be too stubborn to work. I enjoyed Balloon Fight, it's a fun pick-up-and-play kind of game. I got it for free since I was a 3DS ambassador.
I recall playing the arcade version of Cruis'n USA at a bowling alley one time, they had that and other arcade games. I do remember there was a Ms. Pac-Man cocktail machine, as well.
I just keep my PC games downloaded, if only for the convenience factor. My laptop doesn't have a disc drive after all, but I do have an external CD/DVD drive so I can copy music CDs right to my computer.
@Tyranexx All righty. I'm not much of a mobile gamer though, and my phone isn't super great to begin with. Jeez, I didn't know that about Level-5...that's disappointing to hear. Maybe their games didn't sell too well outside of Japan?
Yeah I'm pretty sure that the AVGN did roast it, alongside most of the games that he's reviewed. I loved that backlit screen too. I never played either Game & Wario or WarioWare Gold (I'd love to get the latter), but I'm definitely familiar with the Gamer stage in Smash 4. That mother is pretty scary, to say the least!
Ah yeah, you may have noticed that I have a new profile pic - it's that Mario Kart screenshot I mentioned earlier.

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@Fizza Just think, your OBJECTION! post revolutionized it.
@Tyranexx Played good old Star Wars Rebel Assault today because of it! Indeed he did.
@MarioLover92 I need to get Super Mario Land 1, use to have the old cart, it was actually my first Game Boy game. Haven't tried Balloon Fight, even though I know what it is. Balloon Kid is like a platformer with similar gameplay, but reminds me of a platformer in a way.
Cool, I think it was a newer Cruis'n game, can't remember which one. The same bowling alley had a Daytona USA machine, and I played it quite a bit.
Nice, I also recommend for backups USB sticks. I have all my GOG games that way, and I also use the backup feature of Steam. Allows installing games without needing to redownload them (though, Steam is still needed). It usually installs the games like a Steam retail game did back when Valve still sold discs in the mid-2000's. Installs the games, then any updates it has gotten since the backup.
On Android, I found Curious Village, Pandora's Box, Mystery Journey & Brothers Mystery Room, @Tyranexx .... The last 2 have a free part to try, so I'll do that
Isn't it Nintendo that's going to publish Layton outside Japan? Not sure what the chances would have been for Switch ports of older games otherwise but they might be slightly better with them
@Sunsy@MarioLover92 yeah im ok. Does any of you play Switch Sports? @Anti-Matter heard of that game. looks like a crash bandicoot / banjo kazooie
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
