@Fizza Glass screen protector for the Switch? Yeah, they make me nervous to put them on, but it's so nice after it's done. I buy a two or three pack, in case I screw up.
@tekoii Indeed. Yeah, it's funny you bring up Overwatch. When it was new, I wanted to play it, this is going back to 2016. When I discovered Paladins, I loved it. Didn't know it was seen as an alternative or similar game to Overwatch until shortly after playing it. Been playing it on and off since. Definitely, I have fun racing in Mario Kart. It was good time with mom.
@TheAceOfGurren Been awhile since I've played Rayman (I have the 3DS port of Rayman 2 and a bunch of PC games). I think it looks cute.
@Anti-Matter This kind of refers to House of the Dead tracks, in the Sonic and All-Stars games, it's way toned down. Think of it like Mario Kart having the haunted house courses. Mainly just a theme. They also call it Curien Mansion to avoid using the name of the M-rated game (Curien refers to the main antagonist of the games).
As someone who has played the House of the Dead games, the appeal of it for me is it's like a really bad horror movie where everyone "overacts." This is coming from someone who isn't even into horror (seriously, my idea of Halloween are Halloween themed episodes and books of my favorite cartoons, the more cuter side of Halloween).
If horror isn't your thing, understandable, because it's not much of my thing either. Even if I do enjoy the House of the Dead games because of how they're presented (talking from personal experience, I know M rated games aren't your thing). Honestly, I just have a handful of zombie/horror themed games.
Yesterday was pretty rough for me, honestly. I'm not kidding when I say this, but it's been snowing in my area that day. Yes...on April, of all times!!! So much so that it knocked the power out for a good while. We did recover on the same day at least, but apparently there's still some people in my area without power - I feel bad for these guys.
In other news, I heard a rumor about GBA games coming to NSO. Obviously, it's not confirmed. But I think it'd be a good fit for the service, especially since there are GBA games that support up to 4 players. We wouldn't need multiple copies of the same game either!
@reporterdavid I hope you had a good Easter as well! Apologies for the late reply.
@Tyranexx Yeah, I haven't been feeling the best either. Yesterday...could've been a ton better for me. Instead, we got a whole lotta snow that caused our power to go out. Fortunately, we did recover!
Oh yeah I understand where you're coming from. It's not just the Mega Man games, a ton of games on the NES were designed to be quite hard, apparently to increase the longevity. As for Super Mario World, the game does indeed start out with 5 lives per file load.
Thanks! Mine was pretty good as well.
@Sunsy Good to hear you're liking your old place. I think Macs are becoming more and more common today, to be honest. I've seen a ton of people use MacBooks in campus, for example. A friend I know in real life has one, too. In my campus, there was even one computer lab that had all Mac computers, though all the other ones I've been to used Windows 7.
@tekoii Glad I'm not the only one then. It keeps feeling like I'm the only one who hasn't even touched the shine sprite though - perhaps I'm too hard on myself.

@BruceCM Hmm… I’d guess Splatoon would be the game delayed. Since that’s slated for a 2022 release still. It was announced a while ago, so it’s either hit trouble or has been reshuffled.
@Tyranexx Hopefully that trailer managed to lift your spirits even just a little, I know it did for me. I’ve been feeling down too, so this was the perfect distraction from what’s otherwise a pretty mundane existence at the moment. So much has been revealed though, and I’m so excited to learn even more. The music samples I’ve heard are bangers, and the combat looks so deep. I can’t wait to hear the English cast though.
But wow. Didn’t expect at all they’d actually move the game forward. That’s a blessing. And also a clear sign the game is almost finished by now, or… maybe even completely finished.
Best of luck finding a collector’s edition. Luckily there aren’t too many accessories, just a game, steelbook and art book. Unfortunate you’d have to use the My Nintendo Store. Pretty lame deal if you ask me but I’m sure we’ll find our own ways to get the game.
@reporterdavid If you mean Xenoblade you couldn’t be more right. The next few months are going to be pretty painful, never has my excitement and existence depended on game this much. Should be a good warm up for Breath of the Wild 2.
@TheAceOfGurren My only experience with Rayman is with Rayman Legends, which has an utterly stunning art style. The show seems to replicate and enhance that vivid style, so on a looks front it’s already delivering to a high standard. The humour is very Illumination-esque, both being French studios, so I’m on the fence there… interesting showcase though.
@MarioLover92 I’ve not lived in a snowy country in a very long time but I know the feeling. When I was in the UK a few years ago even in July it was still under 40 degrees, and even during the middle of the day with clear skies. It made for some pretty chilly walks, and when it rained… utter misery. Survive!
@TheJGG Ah yeah, that does sound like utter misery. I hate being in the cold myself. Thanks - fortunately, the weather's getting better over here, looks like the temperature is gonna get warmer as the week goes on. Snow's been melting too, that's a good sign!

@Eel I've I've seen an ad where the puzzle solution was super obvious, and they say, "could you solve it!?", or "get the treasure!?". But, maybe I'm thinking of an mobile game ad I saw on TV here in the us.
@BruceCM@WoomyNNYes mobile ads are such a weird phenomenon, they really do enjoy lying about the nature of their game. Gardenscapes is an even weirder case because I have only played the original 3DS game and it's like this posh and serious hidden object game, but the mobile ads are just awkward

@Tasuki that's not a fun chapter. Hope it will be fixed!

@Link-Hero Oh, what I mean is what would make you say something about said person, because someone would have to do something pretty messed up/annoying/stupid, to get you to say things like that I think, even if it wasn't there parent I would still ask.
But like you said full right. Sounds like they did something pretty messed up as welll.

@Snatcher@Link-Hero She didn't listen to me when I told her over and over that she needed to have a will for when she pass on. She kept telling me it's to depressing and I don't want to think about that. Look I get it people don't want to think of their own death but obviously she didn't care about my brother or me.
Basically what happened was the house she owned burned down last year. We continued to pay insurance so that part is good. We'll now because she didn't have a will we can't get the insurance money due to legal reasons. The clean up company now want their money which we have but it's frozen due to legal reasons. I told the company this but they don't care now they put a lean on the house, well.property to have it foreclosed on so they can get their money. I am trying to block it but it doesn't look good. So basically the county will sell off the property give the clean up crew the money they are owed and my brother and I get the rest. But it will leave use homeless. All because my mom didn't listen.

@Tasuki Wow, so her thinking about her death that would happen one day, it happens to all of us, was just too much to think about to the point she rather the chance the worse happen to you, wow, just wow. I'm so sorry this is happening to you, I give you my prayers.
(Sorry if I'm overstepping here, just tell me if I am)
@tekoii The Layton games are charming and very enjoy if you like puzzles! Fair warning: the two 3DS entries are parts two and three of the prequel trilogy, with part one being The Last Specter/Spectre's Call on the DS. The original trilogy on the DS had no in-game continuity, but there are loose links between the prequels. I haven't played Azran Legacy just yet, but so far I believe the link to Last Specter might be negligible. Or at least to where you wouldn't have to track that one down. Stay tuned!
@MarioLover92 Long story short, I think I contracted either a stomach bug or a bout of food poisoning. Or just system overload from a food filled Easter weekend lol. I'm feeling mostly better today, but yesterday I was running a low grade fever and not on a lot of sleep. I did work from home - even that was rough - but a power nap over my lunch helped me through.
Snow huh? It's been cold and rainy here, though we did have a bit of snow very early this month. Those early games were great at milking out longevity with false difficulty, huh? XD I still can't play many 8-bit platformers from that era sans Mario & Co. Though some of the 16-bit platformers were a pain too. I'm looking at you, Disney.
@TheJGG The trailer definitely helped turn a bleh day - thanks stomach illness - into less of one. The Ouroboros forms look like a nice mixup, and the playable characters all look fun too. Have I mentioned I'm glad that Nopon are returning? I also can't wait to dig into the OST when it all inevitably hits the net.
I was pleasantly surprised when they decided to move the release date up. It bumps out both Live A Live and Digimon Survive for the top spot in my book. I should be able to finish Torna by then, plus the game is releasing early enough that I'm not too worried it'll interfere with my traditionally busy fall.
I admit, I'm not very happy that it's via the My Nintendo store since the experience can be... middling. I'm worried that preorders will go up and sell out before I catch wind of them. Special editions like going up in the middle of my work day.
@Tasuki That...is a sad deal, one of those fraught with legal insanity. The cleanup company can't wait? Is there a way to show them proof? I realize the very subject of wills can be depressing, but that's no reason to put them off. Heck, I'm thinking of having a basic will made even though I'm in decent health.
