@Megumi: I hate almost all bugs, but those caterpillars are especially ugly.
@Meowpheel: You lucky norteños! Scorpions must be a normal sight over there though. And snakes maybe? Well, we have those in Gro. too, I even got bit by a (non venomous) snake once.
Now that I think of it, it's like a little Australia over there.
Good to know someone knows what those things are, didn't feel like posting a pic or something. xD
But yeah, I heard someone got bit by one of them as well, sounds scary. >.<

Keep it PG-13-ish.
They're actually not that common in the city, but yeah I've seen a few scorpions and snakes. We actually had many small, innofensive snakes in the garden before... But our dachshund kind of... Hunted them all.
The rattlesnakes are more common in the roads between towns, they often lay there because they're warm and comfy. That often leads to squished snakes, poor things.
Haha, for real! I ate chapulines last year and they were sooo good. I'd like to eat fried mezcal worms, but those are a bit expensive. I've heard people say escamoles (ant eggs) are really tasty too.
@Meowpheel: I've just eaten chapulines, so I don't know if all bugs taste that good, but I think it's nice to try new things once in a while. I love trying weird foods, while most have bad reputation, I end up liking them. e.g. Japanese nattou, korean kimchi, bugs, moronga (or morcilla), etc.
I ate some tacos de panza earlier (sheep meat and guts, and spices, all cooked inside a sheep stomach). Sooo good...
I'm very boring when it comes to food, when it comes from an animal, I only eat the generic meat. No heads, eyes, organs, hooves, tongues, guts or blood (by itself), etc.
And even then, the meat must be well done... No red inside.
