I went to a neighborhood yard sale today. One guy sold me a Sega Genesis with two first party controllers, two third party controllers, Golden Axe, and a 32x expansion for $3, (The system itself seems to be working, but I'm missing some cables, and while I can run video through the 32x, I get sound but no video. In going to pick up an AV cable later.) A nice clear plastic Gameboy Color for $3, a nice clear plastic Gameboy Advance for $3, Pokemon Pinball for $1, Pokemon Trading Card game for $1, and, the best deal of the day, a golden Majora's Mask cart for $1... with a holographic label! After countless days of yard saling and coming back with nothing, this is a nice change! I feel kind if bad for the guy who sold this stuff to me though...
Edit: I got a new cable and the Genesis works great!
That sounds AWESOME! I wish there were more yard sales here so I could buy all that stuff.
I just watched the past two episodes of 24 and they were simply incredible. I like the 12 episode format compared to 24, but it's a shame that there are only three episodes left in the season (and quite possibly, the show. Haven't heard anything, yet). More seasons, please!

I get the house to myself tomorrow (or, I guess, today, since it's past midnight here now). That never happens. I usually have to work, but not tomorrow! Laundry, Netflix and researching what my next laptop should be.
And our neighbour is moving away since her husband died and she's trying to get rid of some of the stuff so they don't have to pack away as much. She's pretty much giving us this massive entertainment centre that will take up the length of the rec-room wall and an awesome reclining chair. I'm also going over tomorrow to pick out some books since her husband was an avid reader and they have a room full of his books. Best neighbours we've ever had, by far.
@brewsky, do you mean 24: Live Another Day? I LOVE that. I haven't been able to keep up with it as much as I want to, but I try to catch it when I can. I'm usually at work when it's on, so my mom watches it and then tells me what happened.
I've heard rumours about there being a Kate Morgan spin-off being considered. Those are just rumours though. I'd totally support that. Yvonne Strahovski is awesome.
@Gamecubed The producers said they were open to Yvonne Strahovski taking the place of Kiefer Sutherland. But if they're going to make more seasons, I think Sutherland is going to stick with it a little while longer. It depends on how long we have to wait until the next one, though....if there is one.

Finally finished my part for an Android Smash bros. clone called Smash Clash. Never thought I'd get all the battle sprites down due to me being lazy but I feel so pumped about it now. Here's the character in question:
Just found a seller on eBay with a lot of the Digimon figures I'm still looking for! No Raidramon though, still looking for a spare leg since my figure is missing one.
The same seller just put up literally every season one Digivolver I'm after!! Holy crud I need to win these auctions!
you know those days that every word you say make you feel like you're digging your own grave deeper little by little and it hurts even more because you're being too nice while trying to hide how you're feeling and this consumes you from the inside to a point that you feel hopeless about something? yeah, I don't need to say any more....
it's like I can't obey myself and end saying or doing the oposite of what I wanted... guess I'll never learn.... T_T
and even so it feels better than trying to not care about it like I've been doing lately.

I went to the drive-in theatre with my sister, brother, and his wife last night. They showed How to Train your Dragon 2 and Maleficent. Dragons 2 was good, and Maleficent was a whole lot better than I was expecting. Seriously, a whole lot better.

I went to the mall today, well disappointments aside there was a WiiU Mario Kart 8 demo and nobody paying attention to it so I took the chance played a race, maaaaaaaaaaaaan a controller never felt so good on my hands as the gamepad did!
I need a WiiU.

I picked up Pokémon Y with my sister (who got Pokémon X) on Saturday. Earlier today, I was stumbling through the first cave and just about to leave when a random battle happened. There I saw it, a shiny whismur. I almost had a happiness heart attack, and ended up catching it. Now, its a loudred. My first shiny Pokémon.
