Loved Tiny Toon Adventures! Soon as I'd get home from school, I remember watching it, Batman: The Animated Series, X-Men and THIS... [youtube:KA0TS9l_nJE] Yakko, Wakko and Dot FTW! Loved them, as well as the Pinkie & The Brain and Slappy Squirrel segments. Slappy Squirrel's sarcasm just fit right in with me. If only I could've found a video of her making fun of Bruce Willis' Yippie Kai yay line from Die Hard, hee hee. My favorite of the Animaniac intros was the one mentioning the lovely Dana Delaney at the end!
Warner Bros. was at the top of it's game during the early 1990's. Animaniacs and Pinky & The Brain were brilliant comic satires that also paid homage to the old cartoons from WB's early years. The comedy was spot on, the jokes were witty and inventive, the slapstick was goofy, the dialogue was witty, the animation was superb, the voice actors were perfect for their roles.
Ah, I miss the old days of Warner Bros. cartoons. The Looney Tunes Show is such a disappointment, but at least it's better than Lunatics Unleashed and Baby Looney Tunes shudders.
Loonatics Unleashed: [youtube:1WceaX_MwXg] Really? Looney Tunes as futuristic anime-style superheroes? God who came up with this stuff?
Though I did enjoy Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries: [youtube:gPcPjLok4Bw] At least that kept the style of the old cartoons. Friz Freleng would be proud.
So, I have you ask you guys, how have you personally benefited from being a brony? Not to mention how PMvs have expanded my musical taste, just the other day, I was checking one of the many pony groups on Steam, and I saw a comment from a fellow brony, who was saying he had an extra copy of Killing Floor, and would give it to another brony. I replied, and now Killing floor is sitting in my Steam library. Tell us your stories
Well, I haven't benefited like that, but I feel like I've made some friends here and I enjoy posting pony goodness here! Guess I need to expand my bronydom beyond here, LOL. I frequent Equestria Daily and My Little Brony but haven't posted. Now as far as the show goes, it's quite simply made me feel like a happier person (which, honestly, I'm not a lot of the time). Enriched my life far more than one would think a cartoon could! Especially here lately. Been a tough couple of months here, between a difficult job search and extreme, record heat. So, I'll sum it up like this:
My pony friends have made this a better summer! Without them, it would've been a bummer!
@Kid_Khaozarus Well, actually, today I spend time with some friends, and tbh I thought about how awesome it is to have them, hadn´t think about what friendship means in a while, and thanks to the show I did. Today I shared more, talked more and laugh harder XD. Ponies make me less depressed, comming from me, that is a lot .
Just got my first ever My Little Pony toy! Fearlessly marched into the girls toys section of Wal-Mart like the force to be reckoned with that I am and emerged with Fluttershy's Nursery Tree! When I got to the cashier, I was cooler than the other side of the pillow. And now to enjoy the spoils of this fruitful trip! yay SQUEE!!! [youtube:xVkmH-EkYqM] (btw, when possible, I will provide photographic proof of my feat, in the form of a picture with my Mii next to Fluttershy and Co.!)

I would NEVER EVER do that. Sure, the show is nice, but buying the toys?
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

I want to get the mane characters manely. Not going to turn my room into the potential site of a Pinkie Pie party, but do want to support the ponies and have a display to say "I am Brony, hear me roar".
I...actually want a Rainbow Dash toy... it's only 5 dollars! But two things, I don't really like the hair on it, you think you can comb it to be more accurate? I don't think I could buy it though...
Actually I may reconsider, look what this guy did. Idk what boil wash is, but that's what he did apparently, and some trimming. http://i.imgur.com/IP1r4.jpg
You came onto this forum thread for the sole purpose of quoting a user who said this four months ago. Curious much?
@FluttershyGuy there would be no way I'd have the balls to buy my own MLP toy. Now if they were a gift, I would probably proudly display them in my room. Never thought the hair looked good on the toys though. Maybe if it was plastic it would look better...
@Kaiser The only thing keeping me from buying a few toys is the inaccuracies. I want ponies that look like they're from the show Those ones you showed us looked, pretty dang good actually.
@LiquidVolt Not one to talk like Gilda often, but that looks sweet! Can't imagine what Frankenpony I'd make out of that! I guess I could make a Mii pony, with my cheese wedge cutie mark! @Bimmy_and_Jimmy Forget stuff like Mario Kart 7. I can't wait for Christmas now because of pony ornaments (and whatever other pony goodness Santa might bring). Pinkie Pie should have some ice skates on, though, to go with the Winter Wrap-Up theme! Guess they didn't trust her with sharp objects. Just watch "Limitless" and you'll see what I mean... @KaiserGX They did a darn good job! Especially like the bangs on Twilight Sparkle. Oh, and yes you can buy it. I believe in you and so does Rainbow Dash! See my rules below addressed to BleachFan... @Matillion We're not so scary once you get to know us. We're not Hydras or anything out of Everfree Forest... @pntjr
yes
@BleachFan Has nothing to do with having cojones. Number one: As a rule, everypony is too wrapped up in their own shopping and lives to care in the least what anypony else is doing. Qualifier to that is if I went to get a toy wearing something Rarity designed for me. Number two: Being older, anypony who does notice will think you're getting it for a little foal. Daughter, niece or little sister. Of course, as word of the Bronies' existence spreads across the land, there will be less protection there. Number three: Nopony else is paying my bills, so I don't much care what they think. I'm an adult who can buy what he wants (given that it's not drugs or a rocket launcher, that sorta thing). Of course, that doesn't mean I'd be caught dead anywhere near the filly's lingerie section... @Kid_Khaozarus Hopefully whenever they come out with G5 ponies, they'll be closer to the show. Not sure when that'd be, but... Especially as the show becomes more popular, I think that'll become more likely. These are kind of a middle ground between the FiM ponies and ponies of old. @ColorsOfSonic With classes AND a new job starting next week, possibly on the same day, I feel like crying. Or screaming in terror. Or both at the same time.
