I was finally able to catch an entire new episode on TV instead of Youtubing it. Was that song they sang near the end their national anthem? Everypony seemed to know it.

The new episode was great! I not sure why but seeing Rarity ride Twilight Sparkle was hysterical.

It does sound like an anthem. Considering they sang it after founding Equestria, I can certainly understand where you are coming from.

So, yeah, that's weird that they didn't go into the origins of the Grand Galloping Gala, which was held shortly after all of the tribes got along. Overall great episode, Pinkie Pie was the best here.

I didn't think it was weird that they didn't touch on the Grand Galloping Gala. That's a matter that probably has nothing to do with the origins of Equestria, y'know?

It's like a good book, a very funny one at that. Something I remember you were interested in. Give it a try, the humour is much more like what cartoons were once then what they are now.

Well the Grand Galloping Gala is the celebration of the founding of Equestria. The first Grand Galloping Gala was held shortly after they founded Equestria in the Unicorn city of Canterlot.
