Hi guys, I was thinking about the 'new' Pokemon Limited edition X and Y consoles and was wondering does anyone know how many were actually made? They seem to have sold out in shops extremely fast and now the only place to buy brand new ones is eBay by the looks. Also is there any other cool limited edition Pokemon gaming pieces out there? And does anyone know what's the next thing Pokemon (don't care whether limited edition or not) that is going to be released and when?
Cheers!

Well, my cousin works at Target. He says when Nintendo is offering up a limited edition console, they normally only get 2-3 shipments of limited edition consoles. Usually, they have around 5 or 6 consoles in stock at one Target store. (Of that particular design) Let's just guess at around 15 consoles per store. Although Nintendo does many limited edition consoles, they know how to keep them limited. You may be lucky to find them at other stores, but they're likely long gone. eBay or Amazon, or maybe ordering from retailers like Target and Walmart online could net you a brand new handheld at a reasonable price. Online, you can also find the Pikachu 3DS XL( expensive as of this post) which is most recent. There is a Dialga/Palkia LE DS, a Pikachu GBA, a Pokemon XD GC, a Pikachu and Pichu Gameboy Color, and a Pikachu N64(lots of Pikachu, eh?). The prices vary on these, but it's usually not too bad. No new Pokemon LE consoles have been announced as of this post. There is a new Detective Pikachu game in the works, and Pokemon Trozei 2 is on it's way. Hope this post cleared some stuff up.
