In the midst of this firestorm surrounding DRM policies on the PS4 and XB1, with the major publishers (especially EA) lobbying extremely hard to enact them, I felt a soothing calm when picking up my 3DS today.

Nintendo, thank you for caring about your core fan base and telling EA to stick it where the sun don't shine. I am very excited about the bevy of excellent WiiU/3DS exclusives this year and next that will keep me entertained for countless hours.

Nintendo execs are shrewd businessmen, and people who say Nintendo is going to die has no understanding of their business model. Nintendo is here to stay and I couldn't be happier!

Thank you Nintendo!

Agreed

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

They told EA to stick it where the sun don't shine? Did I miss something?

EA wanted Origin on the WiiU, Nintendo turned them down cold and EA threw a hissy fit and vowed not to make games on the WiiU

I have to read that article, sounds interesting.

It's nice to know that they're people who like Nintendo for being itself rather then trying to catch up with the other 2 companies.

A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.
