Topic: Is there a way to order a game from LRG if you missed the pre-order?

I was wanting to get tbe Switch version of Fighting Force Collection since it was a game that my brother and I enjoyed when we were teenagers. Silly me though I though the preorder closed on the twenty-first not the eleventh. So now when I went to order it it says sold out which yeah its past the eleventh.

Any way I am guessing its a pre-order they will have it available again or am I screwed? If so about how long after tbe pre-order do they make it available again?

@Tasuki LRG do ONLY one print period. Once it is done it is done. This is for the numbered releases ofc. You have some options but those are not ideal:

1. Wait for the LRG Vault to open and HOPE that the game you want is in there. This happens AFTER it is released and only if they have leftovers.

2. Some retailers like VGP and maybe other that I do not know have copies to sell after they are manufactured ofc.

3. Wait for some people to put their overpriced copies on eBay etc.

There will not be another preorder. That doesn't mean you are completely out of luck, though. They might make some remaining copies available 1-2 years later via their LRG vault. Alternatively, if you'd rather not wait that long, you could pay a bit more and get them via VideoGamesPlus when it becomes available there.

@Zuljaras Yeah I will not pay a ***** scalper their price. I thought at some point Best Buy carried LRG is that still the case cause maybe I will check them out.

So basically what your saying is unless one I go one of those routes there's no way I can own the game?

@Tasuki That is the process of LRG they have a pre-order window 1 or 1 and a half months and then it is over. No re-prints or things like that.

But they are printing extra copies to cover things like lost orders or faulty copies. And if those remain with them for some time they put them up in the LRG Vault for purchase.

@Zuljaras Well not the news I wanted to hear. Was hoping to get it on a current console so that way I dont have to pull an older console out just to play a game but it looks like that's my only choice since I missed that pre-order. I saw copies of the PS1 version of Fighting Force going for less then 30 on ebay and I do have a PS3. Just as I said really wanted it on modern console.

Well good news I guess. I found out that The Fighting Force Collection is available on the eShop digitally so I guess at least I can own the game. Only thing now I was wanting to give it to my brother for his birthday hence why a physical copy would have been great, so there goes that idea since I really cant give a digital game as a gift unless I included a Switch with it lol. Guess I will just have to figure something else out for his birthday but like I said at least I can still get the game on a modern console.

LRG releases can take forever to ship, and can be very unpredictable, so don't tend to make good presents unless you're not planning on a particular year.

Anyway, you can lend out the Virtual Game Card for now, I suppose. It's obviously not quite the same as a real game card, and you can't make it permanent unless you pair your consoles. Still, at least it's somewhat easier to do that than it used to be.

@Tasuki Maybe you can give him eshop voucher specifically for buying it? Or like, say you want to borrow his switch for a little bit, and input the eshop voucher and buying it there haha.
