I recently got glasses ... (half an hour ago) And things seem to be going in and out of focus ... and when I look down I feel taller ... For about a year I've had contacts
lol, relax man -- it's normal with glasses. that's how mine were when i first got 'em, and also when my prescription was updated. it'll take at least a week for you to get used to 'em, if not longer (in my experience, anyway). enjoy being tall for a while, hahaha :3

@pix: for me, it's more noticeable if i look down, hahaha. the ground seems like it's farther away because it's more in focus, i think.

Yeah, take some ibuprofen or consult your optometrist if your symptoms persist. It may be a good idea to take a nap (if you can) in the middle of the day yo give your eyas some rest. As for that whole being taller thing, that's just wierd.
Enjoy it now when you don't depend on them. The other day my frames snapped in half. I really felt blind. Couldn't do anything and someon e had to drive me to the glasses place.
I had similar things happen when i switched back to wearing glasses full-time after years and years of wearing contacts pretty much exclusively (through bascially all of high school, college and law school). Your eyes should eventually adjust to the change before long.
