Well I had to cancel a bunch of my preorders today cause of my financial situation including Destiny and Smash Bros. I was looking so forward to those games but I really need the money else ware. Probably will not get it now cause by the time I will finally be able to get it no one will be playing it anymore. Not only that but it looks like the next time I will be able to get a new game of any type will be Christmas and that's if I am lucky enough and someone gets them for me.
Because that I am really depressed cause I have been this way for awhile, not enough hours at my job and I just can't find a second job or better job. I am to the point of just giving up.

My work seems to have fallen into the habit of calling me on short notice and asking me to work on the days I have off. I work there five/six days a week. If I'm not there, I'm working with my family's business. It seems like it's all the time that I get a phone call or a text asking me to work like 30 minutes before the shift starts. I usually turn it down because quite frankly... that's a little too short notice for me. If they called me in the morning and asked, I'd probably pick up the shift, but no. If I have a day to myself, I've made plans.
Like today.... I told my friend that I would go with her to check out an apartment in the city because she didn't want to go alone and no one else could go with her. So of course my work calls me while I'm getting ready to leave. Drives me crazy. I don't want to seem unreliable, but if I've made plans, I don't like changing them on a dime (especially if I've made a promise to a friend).
you should not answer the phone call, that will give them a hint. find the time to explain to them youd like to come in early for them but you cant always do it. if youve done it before they realize its not like youve ever turned them down. this is what you should do when they call: dont answer, and when you go to work when yer actually scheduled to, tell them "i seen you guys calling me but its usually hard to get in touch with me when im off work"
that should take care of that.
problem is you seem to have already done it a few times so now they expect it. its a catch-22 at this point.

After a long week of waiting, my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 arrived in the mail today! The excitement was short lived however, as it doesn't work... -_-
I first tried turning it on, but nothing happened.
I then plugged it in, thinking it just needed a charge, and although there was no battery icon or light to indicate whether or not it was charging, I didn't think much of it.
An hour later I tried turning it on again, to no avail.
Finally I called the Samsung support line, and after following their instructions word for word it was still unresponsive, and the only thing they could think of was that it is indeed defective...
It's brand new, BTW.

Yeah, looks like we're going to have to send it back for a replacement. Also, since tomorrow starts a 3 day weekend, we won't even be able to send it back until tuesday (and of course even longer than that to recieve the new one)...

My neighbors just got back from wherever they were all day, and I was hoping to get a good night sleep without them yelling and racing around in the hallway... again...
I really like this girl and we have been really good friends for several years. However, she is in a committed relationship with someone else. Has this ever happened to any one of you and is there a way I can work around this. I mean I have honor so obviously I wont try anything until she breaks up with him or show any signs of dissatisfaction. I guess what I am getting at is that we have a really good relationship with her and I want to take it to the next level but I'm stuck now because she has a boyfriend.
Save yourself the trouble, be the best you that you can be. Be confident, remain friends, and if it's meant to be she will have her feelings for you change into something more along the lines of the romance that you want.
Don't get fixated on this, because it's just going to put you through a lot of pain and heartache.
@GamecubeMan If she's happy with her current boyfriend, then like MuchoMochi said, remain friends. Imagine if you had a girlfriend who left you for someone else. You'd be pretty sad.
Try to make yourself friendzone her, maybe that'd work
Oh by the way, the same thing has not happened to me BUT: I had a female friend who liked me, but because I didn't realize that she chose to become the girlfriend of my previously best friend. Kinda funny.
