Topic: Disappointment of the Day

Bump.
Ugh, I don't feel so good today. I think I should spend less time on the computer today and, I don't know, lie down or something. It's so hot outside..

I'm disappointed to learn that H.R. Giger passed away. He designed the Alien from the Alien films as well as worked on some video games. RIP, dude.

Well I have hit a financial speed bump I guess you say and am going to have to sell off my Wii U and maybe some of my retro consoles. Not happy at all about that.

Ooh, looks like I gotta work 6 days in a row this week, and they're all morning. I'm gonna be exhausted after all that...

But my big one is that Starlight, a former user here that I greatly respected, defriended me and a bunch of others from his Backloggery Multi-tap, and has now made his profile private. Normally I'd assume he delisted me because of inactivity and the fact that I hadn't talked to him in a while, but considering the last few exchanges we've had, and the fact that he kept b****ing like a little girl in all his updates, I think it's safe to assume he's been reacting poorly to the so-called cliques he keeps complaining about, as well as the schoolyard bullies he keeps saying he's running into on Backloggery, despite the fact that it says more about the people he hangs around with than anything else. Seriously, Him and Shadx are the only ones I've ever seen have any kind of problem on Backloggery, and while Shadx's case seemed rather severe, I haven't seem much evidence to actually support Starlight's claims. He seems to see these little indirect things, like a bunch of people using the same game as their theme, as offenses.

...but despite my grievences, I guess ultimately he's just trying to make the site a more enjoyable place for him, even if it does mean excluding the rest of the community, including people who see him as a friend.

My long time best friend moved away. He came to say goodbye and because I'm terrible with words I didn't say much. IDK why but I can't stop crying and I feel a little empty inside.

So, not long after the last time it happened, I got myself sick again.

Either there is something seriously wrong with my immune system, or I just suck at health. XD

Can't get new job in time to buy MK8. Car needs MOT and tax. Owe a friend lots of money and he needs it! Also got Glastonbury and a Vegas stag weekend to pay for.

Ugh was wanting to play some Gamecube games so I dug my Wii out of storage only to discover the power cord is not with the rest of the system. On top of that I have no idea where else it could be. I dont want to have to buy another Wii just for the power cord, but as it stands anyway I dont have the money right now to buy another Wii so I guess I just gotta hope that then dang power cord pops up somewhere.

You can buy Wii Power cords, you know.

Allergys and frequent nosebleeds are a horrible combination.

I have a crush on a girl again. She's into me, too. But like the last girl, she's moving away soon. On top of that, she thinks I deserve better. It's probably because I've been so nice and supportive or something.

Geez. When did teenager love get this complicated?

@Cyb3Rnite Ouch. As someone who's also sort of gone through that (way back, like, a month or two ago), I wish you the best of luck in getting through this, man.

@Jaz007 Yeah, the "not there" thing gets even more not fun when it's happened to you two or three times.

Got an evening shift and a morning shift back to back. So I go to work, go home, go to sleep, get up, go back to work. Oh well...

Ugh I hate those shifts. Part of my problem is I am usually amped up from work so it takes me awhile to wind down and go to sleep. So even if I am off at 10pm and have to be back at 8am for example I usually don't go to sleep till 1:00 the earliest and then have to get up at 6.

I suddenly just got hella sick again. Ugh. I'm going to the doctor's soon.

This might be TMI, so I'll put it this way:
I might need surgery now. Or I might become infertile or whatever.
If that happens, though, I can always adopt. That's something I've always wanted to do, actually. Give a little child a second chance at a happy life.

Life really knows how to test your patience, eh? I'm cool. I've got too much to be thankful for to get sad.
Sorry for the triple post. I just need to let out some steam or whatever.
