An old game pack I bought from eBay, which had games like Life and Death 2, EPIC, and Mario is Missing was never shipped even though I bought it a week ago. Today I found out the seller simply refunded my money, so I guess I won't be getting it.

I like makin' games!
Future Pinball games!
Petit Computer games!!
and SmileBASIC games!
Waiting for Kirby Air Ride 2. One day, it will come. One day...

You know what really grinds my gears? People that go the speed limit. Now some of you are probably like 'woah Alex are you crazy that is a good thing' but hear me out.

If you go 3-5 over the limit, will a cop usually pull you over? Definitely not. I'd venture to say 99% of the time they don't care. Therefore there might be once in a year that you'll receive a ticket. If, and this is a big if, you receive a ticket once a year, you can just do the stupid two hour traffic thing and not receive any points keeping your insurance the same (at least in Florida, don't care about the lesser states)

What does all this mean you say? You can effectively speed all the time for a low price. Even if you get a ticket once a year, that's what, $150 bucks? I'd pay $150 to go 5 mph over for an entire year. Heck, I've gotten a $300 ticket (and almost my car impounded.. lol) and this still equals like less than 50 bucks a year in order to always speed. Which in my case, is usually 5-10 mph over. (10-15 on the highway).

The people that go the exact speed limit, or even under (lord don't get me started on these people) don't make sense to me. Especially the people that stay in the left lane as if they're proud of their slow speed. Yes, you either have absolutely nowhere important to go, are poor and can't afford to risk a ticket, you are doing something illegal and really can't risk getting pulled over, or you are a jerk. All equally great options.

This isn't a problem in like 90% of the world, but in cities like Orlando one car can slow down traffic significantly. A couple people can turn a 10 minute drive into a 20 minute drive. Which actually probably costs me more in gas than a ticket would once a year!

@Marks: Mine used to do that all the time and I hope she or he is okay. (I have no idea what is the gender since I didn't do the gender check on the moult.) Hopefully it is nothing for your tarantula. Mine is just lazy and do nothing everyday.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

@AlexSays: I dunno, maybe some people are just trying to be extra careful? ...I think people need to be more patient sometimes...

Extra careful.. So going 45 is super safe, but 48 is completely out of control?

If slower vehicles are causing congestion, more cars concentrated in one area is more problematic than the same amount of cars traveling slightly faster over a spread out area.

This is why slow cars are discouraged from being in the 'fast lane'. They are more of a risk than cars traveling at a higher speed.

And unfortunately this is anecdotal evidence, but I've seen hundreds of patients from motor vehicle accidents in the ED.

Never once has it been because they or someone else has been going 3-5 mph over the speed limit. There are plenty of alcohol related mva's, texting related, even running from the cops related.. Never once has someone said 'Well you see, I was going 39 instead of 35 and the other car just came out of NOWHERE' lol.

Also my next rant: people at the movies. You know there is a third Hobbit movie people, why are some of you so surprised the second ends on a cliffhanger? I don't know what people thought the third movie would be about. Bilbo's journey back home to rest and drink tea?

Edit: This is a great blog about speeding:
http://stephiblog.wordpress.com/2012/12/01/speeding-isnt-dang...

I'm too lazy to link on my ipad. She touches on the insignificance of these arbitrary numbers though. As if the number of accidents would drastically rise if you increased this magical number by a few mph.

It's not like speed limits are the absolute safest speed in which to travel anyway, that's impossible. We go by 5s. What are the chances, on every single roadway, the absolute safest speed for traffic to travel is on an interval of 5? Its a complete guess. And considering how many more accidents happen at low speeds, speeding itself cannot be inherently dangerous.

@Tasuki I'm sorry about your GameCube I hope you get it fixed soon.

@Super_Gravy Man! When you said "bad luck week" you weren't kidding! Thanks for sharing it with us though. XD

@Miss_Dark Hey, there's no reason to be sorry about this. What you did was awesome! Dudes like that deserve to be taught a lesson every now and then. Even if what you did wasn't called for, they provoked you into doing that. It was their own fault that you got fed up.

@CanisWolfred Man, that's rough. I hope you get a new graphics card soon...

@Marks Hey! Is your Tarantula okay?

@jock I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope it lived a good life.

@1337man1233 Ouch! I hope it's stopped hurting since!

@Miss_Dark You can do it! I BELIEEEVE in You!!! But in all seriousness: You've got what it takes to finish this paper! We're all rooting for you!

@CanisWolfred Well, best of luck to you in sorting all of that out, man.

I'm flattered (just don't ever compliment me again, please) and glad that I brightened your day, @Miss_Dark. Good luck!

@Gioku It's just a thing with me. I can take [most] insults, but I can't take compliments.

So, if you ever wanna get under my skin, just say "Y'know what, @Mickey? You're alright."

Just as I was prepared to settle down for a long winters nap, I blew my nose. Blood started pouring out, enough to take at least a half hour of pressure. I'll probably start bleeding once I finally get to sleep too.

@Wonder_Mask: Are you sure that you are too excited that you start to nose bleed? Some people do get nose bleed for being excited.

Sigh. I didn't do as good in 2nd semester Calculus as I'd hoped. Will probably have to take it again. Ah well.

After reading many good things about other people's dealing with Nintendo customer support on these forums I was pretty hopeful of the same treatment, however my experience hasn't been quite the same, pre ordered a link between worlds from the nintendo store here in the UK which is pretty new here, was due on its release in Nov yet I still haven't received either the game or the treasure chest.

when it didn't arrive I checked the website which said to wait 2 weeks before contacting them to allow time for delivery, so I waited and then emailed nintendo customer support explaining the situation, they where quite helpful and asked for some details to help investigate and that they would send the info of to nintendo store, didn't hear back from nintendo store though so tried the mii chat which was also quite helpful after explaining things I was given a print out for a non receipt of goods disclaimer, but still no word on the investigation, also they ended the chat with an ad to check nintendo's new store which is the exact store I'm having problems with :/

Finally got an email from Nintendo store today with the heading "is this what you are looking for" reading that I instantly thought fantastic they found my game! but no actually the email was a link to buy the game a link between worlds, which I've already paid for and am yet to receive, I'm sure it wasn't intentional but it really did seem like a bad joke, well that's my disappointment of the day.
