Can't say my week's been disappointing but the wifi on my 3DS unit is broke. Might get it fixed (if there are spare parts), but my budget is tight atm.

I was typing a report on a story here at school, but I can't retrieve the work I did the day before, I must've saved it wrong or something. And to make matters worse, It probably may hurt my grade unless I start the whole damn thing all over again! -_-

I forgot to cancel my Crunchyroll Trial before the end date and got charged $12...

Last week, I handed in some coursework. While only worth 10% of my total grade, it was simple enough to do. For 3 of the sections (two worth 10 and one worth 15, whole thing was marked out of 100), I got 0 because my printed submission for those sections was too small to read. While I resubmitted the sections, the mark for those will be capped to 40% due to "late submission" rules despite handing in the work on time originally.

My mark should've been at least a 60, but the highest can get now is 53 out of 100 due to a technicality. Unfair...

I still don't have a job. Can't even get one at my McDonald's that is always hiring (or so they say)... If I'm unable to get work at even the lowest tier, then what good am I...

^McDonalds is actually pretty damn tough work, and in this economy, they have the pick of the litter. Everyone does, actually. You just need to hang in there and keep trying as best you can.

I'm sick with a head cold..... and I have to go to work. On the bright side, Super Mario 3d world and A link between worlds comes out next friday.

@CanisWolfred Funny thing is, I have worked at one before (though at a different location much farther away). And having stated multiple times that I've previously worked at such a place in the applications I put in, one would think I would have a slightly higher then usual chance. Apparently not it seems...

Seeing how whiny some folks around here have become. Im seriously thinking about quiting the site. I have full understanding if us nintendo fans again get the short end of the stick from some devs / publishers and such, but the recent whining about the last N-Direct presentation and now about the Miiverse integration on the 3DS simply makes me mad. People are seriously freaking out about the fact that it doesnt offer the friendlist and PN functions, and treat it like the worlds gonna end -.-
With an attitude like that, i begin to see why so many other gaming communitys see Nintendo fans as the end of the food chain in gaming. If you ever thought the Sonic fanbase was unpleasable, just look no further than comment sections the recent news articles on here.
I dont mean to offend anybody in particular, its just the general "i want anything with everything for free yesterday and if not, its bad by default" mentality makes me so tired

@WingedSnagret This sorta thing can happen to anyone sometimes :/ My girlfriend finally got an apprenticeship after years of applying with a 3 monts qualifying period. She worked the full 3 months without any flaw and still got the boot an her last day. Their argument was, that THEY felt that she didnt like the job and she wouldnt fit into the company. She had no word in it and there where no signs of any problems with her and her colleagues during these 3 months. Just dont feel bad about yourself. Most of the time, its not you, its the general concept of "looking for the perfect worker" that gets in the way.

Oh. So it's Miiverse. Minus the only good aspects of Miiverse. Great. I can't side with you on this one. What could've been a step forward is instead a step back. I'm not happy with over-entitled gamers either, but in this case, their whining is warranted.
