@Gioku fight on! I know you can do it! and getting a job is not so bad(I guess didn't start my job yet ) just remember that if you have to get a job try to find one where you don't need to interact much with costumers(aka "users" in IT)

@Tasuki The fear of losing your job aside, there would be reason to worry if you didn't talk back to the guy. Whether or not you get fired, you did the right thing.
What? You're never in a position to yell at a customer. No business actively encourages their employees to have an attitude with customers, regardless of what they do.
The right thing to do would be to let it go and be the more mature person. Instead you yell at him a little? Oh no, I'm sure that entirely changed his viewpoint. That accomplishes nothing and makes the business look bad.
The customer is always right for a reason. Employees are disposable. There are far too many unemployed people without temper tantrums to entertain people that are easily upset.
Sadly what he says is true. The way the company looks at it is that you are representing the company. Now while I do believe that saying the customer is always right is BS especially nowadays cause you get some donkey like I did that provokes you into doing something to get you into trouble cause they know they are in the wrong but they want you to be just as miserable as they are are, and they know that you will get in trouble sooner then they will. But yeah the company just sees it at lost money and like Alex said with so many people looking for jobs now, they will just get rid of the trouble employee sooner then the trouble paying customer.
That is why I am disappointed at myself for taking the bait even thought walking away goes against how I was raised, in this day and age though you just have to learn to turn the other cheek.

Funny thing is most of the time I don't interact with customers I just did yesterday mainly cause I was the only one available to do so. I know I have a temper and I know this kind of thing will happen if I get the wrong customer just like yesterday, but sad thing is all my job experience is in retail a customer heavy job. Every time I have tried to get a non retail job I dont get it cause I dont have enough experience. In the end I end up getting a retail job cause I need a job after all.
@GustavoSF I'm going to be real with you, man, it's going to be tough getting over her. Tougher than two weeks. Give yourself as much time to recover as you need.
@AlexSays I suppose you're right in terms of 'the right thing to do for your job', but I was talking about the right thing to do personally. The guy was apparently goading him and hurling insults at him. I don't know about you, but whoever is hurling insults at my friend Tasuki deserved to be yelled and I'm proud of Tasuki for not letting that customer pick on him. That's just me so don't let it bother you too much.

@Mickey: Thanks Funny thing is everyone I have talked to says the same thing I even had several co workers ready to jump in and help me in case it came to blows lol. But yeah what AlexSays says is 100% true and thats what I am worried about. But as I said I made my peace and honestly because of how I was raised I am proud for standing up to the jerk, pride can be a curse in itself.

In my field I deal with angry people all the time. So I let them be angry, call me names, etc. and all the while, I'm just thinking about how sad their life is compared to mine. Then I feel sorry for them.
People can try to get to me all they want. At the end of the day, they'll return to their minimum wage job and their broken marriage while I live quite comfortably with my high-paying career and girlfriends of questionable morals.
@AlexSays: That is good advice and honestly I do do that really well. Yesterday was just a bad day altogether and that customer was just the breaking point for me.
Man that sucks about the preorder. I know alot of people that canceled their PS4 preorders for whatever reasons and are now regretting it.

The latest nostalgia critic episode. It was just...ugh. It was another commercials episode (which I love), but over half the time was taken up by the annoying skits. Heck, I think there were less then a dozen actual commercials reviewed during the whole thing!
^Last weeks one was really good, though, so I'll forgive them for having a crap one this week.
My disappointment is that I went all the way to a retro game store in the mall, and A) they didn't have a copy of Logan's Shadow, and B) they weren't hiring. They told me they might be hiring by November 12th or later. He apparently got it all done the first full week of November. Gah!
My old Playstation doesn't seem to work anymore. It was always pretty rickety, but my bros and I could usually get it running fine. It don't think it will this time.
bad day today.....
everytime I touched a handrail I got a stactic shock(no harm but no fun), I went to lunch in the mall and the food was really bad this time(it was a place I go to eat almost everytime I go out, normally it's good), I don't know how it happened but my leg is hurt and since it's the last day at college(1st year) I won't see her again on my way back since I'll have moved to another city when the second year starts.....
