Disappointing games - General Discussion Forum

Picture this. It's been about a year since my parents made us sell our playstation, and 8 year old me is missing his favorite games. It was the spyro the dragon series. I desperately want it back, and find out there is a spyro game for the gamecube, which I have. The game is called the legend of spyro, a new beginning. For the next month, I save up enough money and head to the store. As we step out of the store, I am more excited than I have ever been. I get home and hurriedly pop the disc in. I start playing... Only to find that they changed it completely from what it used to be. Gone is the emphasis on platforming and item collecting, and in with fighting attacks and story. I was not pleased, to say the least. What's your most disappointing game?

Sure, if you like Zelda games overall. If you ask me, the controls work well, it looks great and is lengthy. Only thing I don't like is the overworld design; that and some of the music is forgettable – though there are some epic tracks to counterbalance. You can get it for cheap anyway, so it's definitively worth a shot.
