I'd like to thank everyone for the comments about our coverage. Doing the updates from the show floor was an experiment this year and I too think I could have done a much better job of getting more pics and more updates. But now that I know what to expect from doing it, next year I'll try to do more.
It was a great period of time, and Corbie surely went all out to bring the news front and center.
Others may have been a little quicker, but I did find myself coming to N-Life not just for E3 goodies and news, but also reactions from the ever-reliable users.
Great show this year! Kudos to Corbie for his hard work!
If there was a medal like this, I'd award it to him:
Unless I'm blind and overlooked it, how about some video content? Text only does so much to describe what a game is like, and sometimes, you cannot even put an experience into words, you have to show it. Unless I'm looking in the wrong spot, all I saw was Tweeting. Out of all the websites that did coverage this year, once again I'm putting Destructoid (Mainly Jonathon Holmes) on top. So just copy what he does, Jonathon Holmes, that is. Watching that man at E3 is just like being there, simply because his reactions are exactly what you'd be like.

I think the coverage was very thorough. My main gripe is the huge block of E3 articles organized at the top of the page. It would be much better if they were collapse-able. The impressions are very well-written, which makes up for any small gap in speed there was. Maybe you guys should set up some sort of donation thing to get enough funds to send James or someone else out to LA. Great job, though!
You guys did a great job. My only suggestions would be to add pictures and videos to the live text updates which you said you are gonna do next year and possibly move that blue e3 section of the home page to its own page.

Corbie did a phenomenal job with E3 this year, just like last year. Still waiting on the Skyward Sword impressions, but other than that, I'm good. I did miss being in the chat like during E3 '10, but the site problems were understandable with the heavy traffic that was going on. It's not every year Nintendo announces a new home console, after all...
By the way, if Corbs needs a partner for E3 '12, I'm a fellow Texan; I'd be happy to tag along...
"Don't make enemies, they'll stab your heart; don't make friends, they'll stab your back. Including me, including you, all men are trash. Don't love; don't be loved. Have nothing to do with other; live in isolation."
Considering the amount of staff you guys had and the fact that your not professionals I think you did an amazing job. There were plenty of regular updates and some nice hands-on articles. Sure piccys and videos would be nice but it doesn't bother me. WELL DONE GUYS!! Hopefully next year your success will have grown enough to send two of you
I would've liked to have seen screenies and videos go up faster (though honestly everywhere I checked was slacking on that front). Seems like you were better at that last year... but that might just be me. Also yeah, the big blue E3 thing was annoying.
Other then some problems trying to get on the site, your E3 coverage was great. I liked the E3 article section at the top, especially how they were sectioned off by system. Also Nintendolife was the only website I saw with info about Professor Layton and Super Fossil Fighters!

@pixelman It's not a case of 'slacking' — anything but! — it's a case of Nintendo's download servers being totally ill-equipped to distribute the files quickly enough. It was taking me 40 minutes to download a file that was only a few MB, whereas I could upload a 250MB vid to YouTube in 60 seconds. I have a plan for next year though
It seems with all the content to cover, maybe you should find a loyal user that lives near LA to help out at E3. I can't though, 1. I'm 13, and 2. Oregon is sorta close to LA, but still too far.
I would have liked some more coverage on Wii U demos. I had to go to IGN for them since the only demo the site had impressions on was shield pose. Or I think it was that was the only one I noticed.

I think you guys did a great job. I did like the bar on the top where it had all the news in one convenient location. distributes hugs to all admins and mods who worked hard to cover E3 and especially Corbs/not sucking up to people with authoriteh
