Topic: Ranking Threads

Can we just have one Ranking thread?? Lately I have been seeing alot of Ranking X game and Ranking X Mobile Game and Ranking X Console. How bout just one thread? It Having all these Ranking threads clutters up the forums and when you look at the forum sidebar on the main page and see nothing but ranking forums it just looks bad.

Here's my top 5 ranking threads;

1 Ranking Switch's First Party Lineup
2 Ranking Nintendo’s Home Consoles
3 Ranking Nintendo’s mobile games.
4 Ranking The New Super Mario Bros. Series Games
5 Ranking Pokémon’s mobile games

5 ranking Pokemon mobile games
4 ranking Nintendo switch games
3 ranking new super Mario Bros games
2 ranking Nintendo mobile games
1 ranking Nintendo home consoles.

Well I rank this thread as the worst suggestion ever. We live for ranking. You try and bulk them all together and it'll turn into one of those threads that just a few people bother to keep going. They need focus.

I completely disagree with the rankings of those ranking threads. Clearly, if you’re ranking threads, then the Ranking Thread thread has to be number one. This is the thread where ranking threads are ranked, thereby empowering this thread with supreme ranking power. In my opinion, this is the only ranking thread worth following and ranking because the Ranking Thread encompasses all ranking threads. Simple. So here’s my rankings of ranking threads:

I'd rank that for a dollar. HOWEVER, there must be additional ranking threads centered around the act of ranking in order for The Ranking Thread to actually be considered as the top ranking Ranking Thread.

Hmmm, while this idea at first seems to run afoul of the supreme authority of the Ranking Thread thread, it begins to make sense so long as we give equal weight to each Ranking Thread thread, but still know, secretly, that this Ranking Thread thread is the most powerful.

@Anti-Matter - What’s up Anti? What are your ranking thread rankings? You should create a thread ranking the DDR games, and then rank that thread number one!

@Apportal Ummm I am a member here been so since 2010. So why don't you stop acting like just cause someone has a suggestion.

And I didn't mean to like get rid of them just put them in one thread is all. It would be like making a thread for bacon, then making a thread about waffles, then one for cake when it could all go under a food thread. Heck even with one thread other users can make there own ranking posting that's all.

@Tasuki Mate, if you start mixing cake, waffles and bacon all together, that would be utterly rank.

How about ranking games named after ranks?
1 - Wing Commander
2 - Rogue Trooper
3 - Command & Conquer: Generals
4 - The Ensign
5 - I Love You, Colonel Sanders

@Apportal you seem to have a bit of an attitude problem. Remember what I told you about creating too many threads when you joined? Too many too quickly will annoy people. Repetitive threads will too.

This is what I meant. Getting defensive and attacking them for complaining [indirectly, mind you] will not really help you in any way. So please try to mellow a bit, and slow down.

@Eel Maybe another suggestion is too limit the amount of threads new users can make in a certain time period. Like maybe for the first month only 2 new threads a day. The. After a month maybe 4 new threads a day for the next six months etc. I am sure that will also cut down on spammers as well.

I'd honestly make the creation of new threads a privilege that needs to be gained. Like, maybe after 100 posts you can then get the option to create a new thread.

Maybe just making the help forum the one exception, so people can always ask questions there.

But that's not up to me
