You brought your DSi on a rollercoaster?! The rollercoaster was broken? The furry creature trying to cook you was confused by your movement? The SUN WAS SHINING?!?!
WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO?!!
...that wasn't melodramatic at all....

Just let it happen.

@110percentful: LOL!
Yes, I took my DSi on a rollercoaster! .....that was broken!
Er....no, Miss Bunny was playing a game of "find that object".
Yup, the sun was shining so nicely through those clouds! I was surprised at how the DSi was able to capture the streaming light.

I think Nintendo of Australia takes this prize. (For once).

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

It looks on par with the camera on my old phone, not bad at all in good lighting conditions; I wouldn't regard the DSi or a phone camera as a "serious" camera, but for me they both eliminate any desire for a digital camera and do the job.

@Sean Aaron: Yes, I agree that it won't be the method of choice for professional photographers; but it works well for me to finally have a nice mini album. My phone has a pathetically small screen and even less space in its memory for holding pictures; and I'm not really into getting big expensive phones when all I want from my phone is to call someone and have a decent battery that I don't have to carry a spare around to make it last the whole day.
I always carry my DS around. So, to me, it was a given that I would have it. So I like being able to have a nice album with me to show pictures to people or just for me to look at again. Plus, I actually like the idea to put random photos on the top screen. It's very pleasing to me. (The thought of printing them out has never occurred to me as something I would be compelled to do..... Why would I carry an extra stack of photos when I already have the album right in my DS?)

So, overall, I am very pleased with the addition of the camera. I have well over 4,000 photos on different SD cards already. (That is my one complaint. I would like for Nintendo to enable me to have multiple albums on my 32 GB SD card.)

Victoria

These aren't really 'vacation' photos ... they were taken this weekend on my DSi.
This is Breedon on the Hill Church which is near my home in Leicestershire, England

I remember that ride. I rode it when they were still testing it back in March 2006

@Victoria: Very nice pics. It doesn't matter if they weren't taken on a true "vacation". A little weekend or simply a pic from around your neighborhood is fine.
Anyway, I like the old stone work. Never seen this kind of thing before.

@lz1020: Yes, it's great, isn't it? That backwards stuff really gets ya.

@Victoria - Breedon on the Hill is about ten minutes from Nintendo Life Headquarters as well as the town I grew up in. You live near royalty!
