Topic: Sonic Generations confirmed for 3DS

"Two new 3DS titles have been confirmed, courtesy of an upcoming issue of Nintendo Power. The cover revealed a new Shinobi and the previously announced Sonic Generations are in development for Nintendo's handheld.

No other details were provided. We hope to have more info on these games at E3 next month."

Too bad this is fourth on my list of games to get. First is Ocarina of Time, then Super Smash Bros (If it's announced), then Mario Kart, THEN this.

I was wondering if there was a second game to get if I got a 360, looks like I dont need to.

Kinda how I feel. There are lots of games I want, and limited financial resources. But a lot depends on release dates; the stuff that comes out first I'll get first.

Yo... That Magazine looks SOOOOO freaking Retro. Reminds me of the N64 days- except, Sonic was never plastered on Nintendo's magazine cover like that.. Damn, I love it!

Well, it will have classic Sonic and the OoT review inside so I'm sure they where aiming for a classic design. Plus its cover 2 out of 2.

If it has a chao garden pet sim i'll freaking buy TWO.
But seeing how the games have forgotten chao gardens i guess i'll get it only if it gets good reviews.

This is exciting news. I'm really glad that I've been laying aside money specifically for 3DS software.

I'm more excited about Shinobi myself.

I really want to head over to Wal Mart and pick up that issue of Nintendo Power. I really like it the cover is so classically retro. It makes me feel so very nostalgic.

That would be even more awesome (it would be easier to do download content!).

I'm just happy Megaman Legends 3 gets a mention, since I can get Generations on 360 anyway

3DS version has classic and Rush style. Casino Night Zone is exclusive to the 3DS version and the last boss from Launch Base is in (with Classic Robotnik).

Green Hill is the only level in all versions!?!

It looks like I might be buying both the console and 3DS versions, since it sounds like the 3DS version is an original game and not a port.

I do hope my favorite zones from Sonic 1 and 2 are in. Never played much of Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic CD.

I know Casino Night Zone is confirmed, but I hope they have Marble Zone, Aquatic Ruin Zone and Spring Yard Zone. Loved their music in the original, hope to hear good remixes.
