Topic: should i get a 2ds

I have seriously been thinking about getting a 2 ds, I do not mind the new design and want it for the low price. The 3d is no concern as it is annoyning. I just want to know other opinions to see if spending 130$ is worth it as far as usage and games go.

If you're interested in playing 3DS games and can't find the extra money to get a 3DS XL instead, then go for it.

I was considering getting a 2DS over a 3DS XL. I'm happy I went with a 3DS XL for the larger screens, I didn't really care about the 3D, but find myself enjoying it quite a bit. I paid $145 for a 3DS XL in November during holiday sales.

If that is what you want, go for it, the Nintendo collection is worth purchasing a system. The 2DS isn't the preferred product of many of us, but it's still a 3DS at it's core.

I suggest you wait to get the 3DS XL. The screens on a XL is very much worth the wait.

I actually purchased the 2DS a while back instead off the 3DS, mainly because off the price tag. And honestly there's nothing wrong with it, I love it actually. I've played on the 3DS with the 3D function on before and It's not a big miss. So far I've played, ALBW, One piece romance dawn, Pokemon Y, Mario 3D land is the only game so far that sometimes made it a bit difficult without the 3D but definitely not impossible. Currently playing Bravely default (chapter 5 atm).

So yeah.. the 2DS is worth it IMO. I've also just bought the Wii U thanks to the 2DS!

If you want a 3DS, and you're not too upset about not having the larger screens, get the 2DS. It's cheap (I got mine for $99 on sale), it's very, very comfortable, and it feels pretty well built. At the very least, it's a much better handheld than the original 3DS, IMO, and my 2DS has replaced mine.

if you dont want 3D then go for it. i could not buy a 2DS. i would really miss the 3D

I know you guys are going to slap me for saying this, but I hate the XL. I find the regular 3DS to have a better 3D effect and it is much more lighter and portable. Me and my wife has a 3DS and we loved it.
