Just got a few VC titles that I've been itching to get. Sor far I got Ninja Gaiden, Ghosts'N Goblins and Castlevania Adventure. Yes, I know the first gameboy CV title was awful, but I just want to have a complete set of all the CV Trilogies fr the GB, GBA and DS. It's not that bad though. Aside from Slow-mon Belmont, the game is a neat little CV Game.
Yeah, I just finished the Castlevania Adventure myself, and while it's not a great game by any means, I wouldn't call it bad either.
To me, it seemed more like a game that has just aged badly, and taking into account it was released during the GB's first year, that's not surprising (developers were still learning the system, and had to make slower paced games, so the original GB's screen wouldn't blur).
Yes, because of those realities, it would be highly irritating playing this on a GB, but with the restore points of the 3DS VC, it's at least worth a novelty purchase for the $3.

Got Family Tennis 3D! It's actually a good tennis sim and the physics are spot on. My only complaint really is that it assumes that the player already knows the metagame of tennis before they play, but that's not a big issue since one can pick it up from just watching tennis for about ten minutes. It's a nice arcade experience to kill some time though
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
so.. yesterday i've bought Liberation Maiden.. simply because i wanted to try it out (looked interesting) and i'm waiting for my copy of tomb raider which won't arrive until tomorrow
first off: it's a good game.. 8euros is like nothing so it is well worth it! it was fun, i myself am not a mecha fan, but i can definitely recommend it if you want fun and quick gameplay, anime-style, fun animations and unique controls
i think NintendoLife nailed it with their 7/10 score.
negative:
1) super short...... i checked my activity log and it only took me 2 hours and 9minutes to beat...
what's even worse is that i left the game on and took a few little breaks and took my sweet time with it... if i wanted to i could've easily finished this game in 1hour - 1 1/2 hours
2) extremely repetitive... not only the gameplay, but the dialogues as well... i don't know what they were thinking, but you'll hear the word "lesser spike" about 1 million times..
3) it basically has no story.. at least none worth mentioning... only 2 characters and one of them is annoying (Kira)
4) that Kira dude won't stop talking, he basically won't let you play...
sounds pretty bad after reading these negative points, but it's actually a well made game.. and i enjoyed it
it's a shame though.. they could've made this into a really great game, the potential was there
and even though 8 euros is like nothing... it's 1 - 2 hours gameplay, would've definitely appreciated like 4+ hours : /

While your points are valid, I'd say that the short length is only a real problem if you're the kind of person who only plays through a game once, and never touches it again.
The game is made with replay in mind, with three difficulty settings, high score tracking for each level (and each difficulty), and the 30 achievements (which unlock artwork, videos, and facts about the game world).

@Romeo you hit the nail on the head. Everything about the game's presentation was top notch yet the game's length was lacking. Even the ending felt more so. Still I don't regret the purchase and I've collected all but two medals. It would have been a great time waster on the go but as someone who generally commutes, Stylus control + motion sickness do not work well for me.
Speaking of Liberation Maiden, Suda 51 Just released and iOS version out now on some regions for $4.99. Don't know how well the controls will translate, but I guess this means good news for the lefties. Still, I expected the Crimson Shroud or Aero Porter had the better chance of being ported for mobile devices, maybe time will tell.
Pretty fun so far. It's a very different type of game for me, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. Just caught a Rainbow Trout, so I should be able to get the raft, soon.

Picked up Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D a week ago.
Really cool game. Still don't hik it is worth full retail price but for 10€ its a bargain.
I read about so many good eShop games that i might go ahead an pick some of those up.
Nano Assault Ex, Gunman Clive and Crimson Shroud are on the top of my list atm.
Last week i purchased resident evil the mercenaries (pretty fun), harmo knight (short but fun), and mega man 3 (another great classic mega man). All of these are serving me well and are all awesome
Now for something completely different!
