Nintendo World Report's review is in: 6/10

They said that it works fine, has some cool legendary exclusives, and is a great companion to B2/W2, but it's practically pointless if you're not going to get B2/W2 & it's not really a game.

Battle Revolution is a battling portal. Pokemon Radar is a pokemon catching minigame add-on.

This game is not worth the money from what I've read. I've read you can catch a max of 29 or something pokemon. I thought this was gonna be free. Maybe I'll cave and get it for the exclusive legends.

It's $3. How can people be complaining about the price? Here's the list of obtainable pokémon, seems like worth $3 to me.

If it's bad, it's bad. I'd still feel ripped off if I was sold Ninjabread Man for $3.

Dream Radar is not bad, I ran into Riolu 2 times so far. So far there are pokemon I run into that only drop items. Except Riolu, which seems to love me.

@oiiopo - You can catch the same pokémon multiple times, except for maybe the exclusive forms of Thundurus and the other legendaries (idk about that for sure though). I know because I've caught Munna twice personally.

I know it's probably going to be bad, and I know I'm basically paying £3 for Faceraiders again, but it's freaking Pokemon, and I want those alternate formes of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus damn it! Plus, I want Staryu early in the game.

is this game really worth getting, I mean it says there are only limited amounts of Pokemon on there. (not all 600+)
The only point in getting this game is if you are bored... or you have PKMN black/white 2

This game could be better seen as DLC for Pokemon BW2, just like Pokemon Ranch was for DP, if you don't have or don't plan to get these games, then this will be worth nothing for you.

It is fun to play and it comes with some good obtainable pokemon and items, but if you want to get it as a stand-alone experience, then you should think it thrice.

Can someone tell me if this will work without a B/W2 game for me? because of a little thing called "christmas" my grandma is embargoing me from buying this game unless I buy everyone else presents. -_-, but she won't care if I get 3DS cards, so could this work so that I could play around with it, THEN transfer my stuff later on when I get this game?

Yes I played and caught Pokemon the last few days and didn't have Black 2 yet, also if you have DPPL HG or SS you can catch the title Pokemon in Dream Radar to trade to Black / White 2

DPPTHGSS support? Then I'm buying later on. But just one question i have from the warning it shows when you buy the game. Will a JP copy of SS work on this? I imported it and am wondering.

IDK, but you can't get Pokemon from Dream Radar to the other DS games, just the ability to get the DS games title Pokemon in Dream Radar to transfer to Black/White 2
