Topic: Phoenix Wright Trilogy Question

I want to get this because I've only played one AA game before and I really liked it (I think it was Justice for All). I never got them on WiiWare mostly because I remember it saying not all of the cases were included in those versions and maybe there were some bonus ones that either were not available or you had to pay more for later, I'm not entirely sure. Does anybody know if the Trilogy contains every case or if some are missing like on WiiWare?

They contain every case. It's a remaster of the DS versions of the games, not WiiWare.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

Thanks. I knew that it is from the DS games, I just didn't know how the DS games worked, like if some cases were bonus or DLC or something which is why WiiWare left them out and this could have, too. Good to know it's everything, then. I'll probably download it tonight.

The WiiWare games had all the cases included.

Except for the special DS-exclusive case 5 of the first game (it wasn't on the original GBA game), which was sold as optional dlc.

I saw Phoenix wright on ds years ago when out shopping etc but passed on the series because busy playing other DS games at the time. Is phoenix wright any good? Really curious to pick this title up if it ever goes on sale in the 3ds e-shop later.

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

Phoenix Wright is one of my favorite modern video game IPs, bar none. They're fantastic games and I also can't recommend them enough.

The thing with the Wiiware games is that they are ports of the GBA games. The first three PW games came out on GBA and later were remastered for the DS adding touch controllers and an extra case on the first game. So essentially you are getting the GBA games on Wiiware not the DS remasters.

Before I played the games, before I knew anything about the series, I had the choice of getting either the original Phoenix Wright on DS or Final Fight Streetwise on PS2. I didn't have enough money for both.

I chose wrongly and my first Ace Attorney experience came a few years later on WiiWare (which NintendoLife says is an 5/10 game - certainly didn't feel like a 5/10 game)

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

God, it's really bothering me that AA:DD has the little bit of gradient on their icon and Phoenix Wright Trilogy doesn't. It looks so off when they're next to each other like this.

Another small question for PAL users: is the game translated in F.I.G.S. languages or is it just in english like DD? Because the trilogy was translated, but you never know with Capcom these days

Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

The trilogy is based on the DS games.

Hi PAL, just changed my language in system settings to German (because that's easiest to understand for me) but the game is still in English. I only see an option to change the language to Japanese in the game, for some reason. So, it doesn't seem like Italian is included, sorry.

The game is in English only, according to the eShop description.
