They liked the atmosphere & unique second playthrough option, but said that the puzzles don't flow together & are uninteresting, the gameplay is half-baked, and it feels like a tech demo for a physics engine rather than a game.
The comments section wasn't very civil either, with bashing of NL's perfect review rampant.
NWR is WRONG and they should feel WRONG.
Also, it goes VVVVVV > Cave Story > NightSky, and this is not up for debate.
This is just as good as I expected, I'm going through the levels pretty quickly, but I only got 1 star lol. I plan on playing the levels many many times.
This is a strange game. I don't really know what to think of it. I willl have to say this reminds me of Fluidity, for some strange reason. I can't really explain it.
so i downloaded the demo of the pc version and played more than 3 levels. the game only has 10 +2 bonus levels that can be unlocked.
the game is awesome, but sometimes it is trial and error but still great game.
how long is the demo btw? i dont want to pay 10€ (when it comes out in europe) for the rest of the levels if half of it is already in the demo
Just finished the "Murky Depths" level. I officially love the little vehicles in the game. The game is truly beautiful, and it's so fun to "experience" the environments in the game, that I know that I'm going to be coming back to it long after I'm done.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Finished it, stars & all! What a wonderful experience. I'd say it took me close to 4 hours to complete. Pretty short, but that's nothing new for indie games, and the experience is well worth the price.
It's a very relaxing game, & I'll be going back to it for awhile

Why do people keep doing this? The only thing the three games have in common is the same crap publisher. (And Pixel did write for NightSky...)

Has anyone had issues with collecting the hidden stars? I have taken a couple of "hidden" exits but it still shows that I need to collect a star.
Merrrrrrrrrg!
Hey bud. Can't say I've seen that yet but I might not have been looking for it. It might be just marking where they are no matter if you got them or not which can be confusing!
Are you getting Etrain Odyssey 4 early next year for the 3ds?

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

Teeeeeeech...
EO4 is miiiiiiiine. As well as MH3 for WiiU and 3DS. I'm going to have less of a life then I do now!
I think the star indicator changes from being an outline to being filled in after you collect them. I didn't have any problems getting credit for them.

To respond half a month later, I was just joking. The games aren't comparable at all, though that does happen to be the order I would rank them in.
