So I just hunted Gore Magalla for the 4 star Urgent leading to 5 star quests. Made the insect glaive from his parts, but now I would like to upgrade it which requires a few extra Gore Magala tales, and I was thinking about making his armor set. I have yet to join in on the online fun because I thought it would be better to level my character up a bit so I wouldn't be in leather armor while fighting with other players.

Anyways, tomorrow after work I hope to jump online for some Gore Magalla grinding, if anyone's game. I'll check back tomorrow when I'm off work.

Did... You beat the gore Magala with the basic leather armor?!

Anyway, I don't think you'll be able to grind for magalas online just yet, you'd first have to level up your Hunter rank by doing other guild quests, just like you need to do caravan quests to unlock the urgent to be able to do the next set of quests.

I'm not entirely sure of at what rank is the Magala unlocked though.

So, just doing the offline caravan quest again and again would be the fastest way to get magala materials. Hunting it alone is kinda scary though.

That was a few good quests that we had, managed to upgrade all of my stuff, now to see what I must hunt next.

I'm pretty good at beating him solo, just tough to cut tail and break horns and everything else in one run. Ya I forgot I hadn't leveled up my HR online yet, guess I'll have to do that first. Shouldn't take long. I used to fight G rank Deviljhoes solo for fun lol, of course it's been a little while I don't think my skills are attuned as they used to be

...Well, they sure did change Garuga in this game...he kicked my butt even though he didn't give me any problems in Unite. xD

The returning monsters are made stronger because you fight them later now than you did before.

I'm going to fight Gore Magala next. Then I will finally have surpassed the demo. Much excite. Very anticipate

Is it bad that I haven't even opened my copy of majoras mask yet because this has consumed my time? I'm at Gravios now, absolutely adore this game so far, so much fun. I've been taking my time with it and I have amassed four pretty good long swords which I'm gonna keep upgrading The Gore Magala LS is my favourite so far

I really want to fight the Magala again to get his hunting horn (it looks like a freaking evil skull with an eye that follows you), but uuuhhhh it really got tense the last time.

Fought Gore Magala. Died twice and gave up. I blame playing in a bright environment where it's hard to see the screen.

I'll try again later in better conditions. For now I'll go back to the less concentration-demanding MM.

Magala's weapons in general look flat-out evil. I love it, lol

Huh, turns out the gore is not all that hard after all.

I have captured him twice in less than 20 minutes now... I still don't have all the materials I need though, that last one is being elusive.

I think the first fight against him is harder because it starts in his hyper mode. In the other ones he's normal and doesn't get mad that much.

I think it's like that with any monster, well...until G-Rank anyways. lol
