hard to decide between dillon's western or switch force. i actually deleted switch force, so i guess dillons western comes in a close second. i agree with @Tobias95 , dillons western is boring, but the fact that i had to turn off the volume whenever i played switch force because her voice is so high(and the amount of space/memory it took) was too much for me.

Downloaded Mutant Mudds last week and I enjoy it. Not a bad game for short bursts of the time wasting variety even though I have dropped the F-bomb enough times to make N.W.A. tell ME to calm down

Most hated would be Kid Icarus 3D and I got that for free by entering that Club Nintendo 3DS competition. At least I won a Princess Peach LTD edition in the end

I'm guessing most people didn't actually play Planet Crashers, because my goodness, that is one of the most tedious things I have downloaded on any handheld. It wouldn't have hurt so badly if it hadn't cost so freaking much. I thought, "wow, a Renegade Kid title that's come out of nowhere and is way more expensive than their best games... this one must be good!"

I'm pretty sure Renegade Kid didn't actually develop the game. From what I can tell, it was a mobile game that they ported. I'm not sure why they would have, but I guess it comes under the games they release that earns them money so they can make good games.

I'm also a huge fan of Mutant Mudds, despite not quite having finished it. It's not a very original game, and I was very disappointed when I turned it on and found it quite generic, but man, I adore the thing now. What felt like a basic run and jump game turned into something incredibly intuitive, with the combination of jumping, shooting and jetting becoming second nature thanks to the perfect controls. Such a pure, polished experience.

Surprised by all the Dillon's Rolling Western hate as well! It's a pretty clever and compelling game, in my opinion!

Here's my list:

  • "Pyramids". I loved the concept and the first levels. But later on the level design gets incredibly annoying.
  • "Fun! Fun! Minigolf Touch". It did not engage me.
  • "Let's golf! 3D". Boring.
  • "Zen Pinball 3D". It's pinball.
  • "Dot Runner". It could have been great - but something makes it very frustrating to get into.

What I love:

  • "Ketzal's Corridors"
  • "Art of Balance"
  • "Mighty Switch Force"
  • "Pullblox"
  • "3D classics Xevious"
  • "3D classics Kirby's Adventure"

Those games are pure genius.

I didn't like the fact it kept deleting my work.
Its nice to see your art in 3D, but it was not worth the price.

Not to mention,it's better to draw on paper or on your computer.

Honestly? Mutant Mudds. People talk about it like it's one of the greatest 3DS games ever made, when it's actually just another generic platformer at best. I wouldn't hate it so much if it weren't so over-praised.

i dont like Mutant Mudds either.

I don't hate this game at all, I in fact love it, but probably Mutant Mudds because it's so hard! But I still like it a lot.

I guess it depends on if we're talking games we bought and regret getting, or games we know we don't like. If we go with games we bought and regret, I would probably say Sakura Samurai would be the only one. It is a lot of fun, I suppose, but I don't really like games that essentially take a game mechanic and then try to pass it off as a game. It's a really good game mechanic that would have been great as part of a larger game, but some of the battles became so tedious because you have to do the same rinse and repeat style of play. I'm still glad I have it, because I know it's a game I'll go back to, but of all the 3DSware games I own, it's my least favourite.

I think most disappointing for me was Planet Crashers. Fortunately I did NOT buy it, but I really like Renegade Kid's work. I really enjoyed Mutant Mudds, am excited for the extra levels, and the sequel. Also, unlike most people, it seems, I LOVE Bomb Monkey. It's a game I return to frequently, and the single system multiplayer is amazing. My brother and I have played it for hours, and he's 12 years younger than me - literally fun for the whole family. And then Planet Crashers came along. I was so excited that RK was developing an RPG, I ALMOST bought it UPON RELEASE. Glad I dodged that bullet! In the end it sounded short and kind of boring, with very little strategy involved. Turn based battles don't suit hack and slash style play! Thank goodness we have The Denpa Men!

TL;DR: I think Sakura Samurai would have been better if it had some other aspects to the gameplay other than just dodge and attack. There are better games that use that same mechanic that don't feel nearly as repetitive (hell, that's basically how Punch Out works, which I would say is better, and I don't even like that game as much as most people seem to!) Also, Planet Crashers broke my heart, but I still have high hopes for RK. TRY BOMB MONKEY! It's really a very good game, though maybe not as addictive as some classic puzzlers.

You are correct. When I hear people blame RK for Planet Crashers, they do not realize that the game is not RK's IP. They were hired by UTV Ignition to develop the game on the 3DS. WayForward has done some awful, rush jobs on other publisher's licensed IPs. It just happens due to the nature of the industry.

Probably Colors 3D. I still use it sometimes (for whatever reason) but I rarely actually finish anything, mainly because the program glitches up anything I've made. For example, it has completely wiped layers that I've drawn after I've saved them and sometimes after I save a drawing it will leave strokes that I already erased before I saved it. Anytime I try to go back and re-erase them, they still don't go away. Also things like when I use Undo it doesn't erase my last, single stroke, but instead everything I have drawn since I saved the painting last. So aside from the awkward and confusing interface and glitches, the app is pretty slow, as it can take way to long for the undo button to actually undo even the smallest strokes. I only hope I'm the only one who gets these glitches because if not I don't think it deserved the score it got here on NintendoLife.

I do not get why this gets anybody's approval, it's an awful, awful game. The game itself is awfully generic and the implementation is appalling considering what the 3DS is capable of.

+1...I wanted to collect one in this genre but SpeedX got boring and frustrating rather quickly. I should have waited and gotten the one with the waves...

Let's Golf 3D Is the one I dislike from what I own. Sure, it's alright for what you want to do, but other games do it better in my opinion. I try to pick up the better 3DS Ware games if possible, but this one just doesn't do it for me.

I knew it was no Hotshots Golf so my expactations were lower and therefore I was able to enjoy it. I think it was worth the price I payed for.

Mighty Switch Force. Felt the game's par times were way too demanding and the later levels much too difficult.
