I am interested in this, dont mind the tilt ( maybe not the 360 degree stuff i dont like) and havent played the original. Worth it? Also, discuss the game here.

It looks so different to the original which I didn't buy, but this one looks better

The original is absolutely my favourite WiiWare game. I can't wait for this. @Barbiegurl777
$10.99 is a bit much, I agree. Hopefully there is enough content to justify that pricetag.
I like how it uses the gyro feature makes me want WW Twisted on VC or at least a 3DSWare "remake" with the title on the 3DS menu switched to a GBA and making the GBA noise... Why can't they do that?

Bought it and played it for an hour yesterday and I think it's way better than the Wii release.
Not all the levels can be turned upside down but these full spin levels are my favorites. The gyro feature work flawlessly and not only you can turn the 3DS but you can bend it forward to be faster as well.
Believe me ! The full twist feature are the best one that could be added in this release and it works like a charm.
I remember to be annoyed by the limited twist in the Wii release but now, it's not limit gymnastic !
Definitely a demo and a convincing review or two for me. With everything else I want on the eShop and the risk factor associated with this game's gyroscope usage, $11 is just too much for me.
But I'm with "rayword45" on this. As much as I love gyro controls on my handhelds like my latest Ipad, ipod, iphone 5 and PS Vita, I feel that the 3DS XL is too big, bulky (two screens) and heavy for that much gyro use, it also has a folderdable screen in which constant gyro motions might damaged the hinges that hold the top screen up right .
I know as a man I'm going to have problems constantly turning my 3DS XL round 180 to 360 degree's without dropping the bloody thing as its quite bulky and heavy compared to my other handhelds. I hate to say it but the 3DS in general isn't suited for gyro usage on this scale, especially 360 motions.
I just don't see it catching on and I can see a lot of users having accidents while playing this. This game gets no support from me.
Just for your information : obviously there is no 3D feature in this game.
And to people saying they could damage or drop their 3DS, movements required to play are not necessarily fast.
I got a 3DS XL and I handle it gently with this game.
@gurtifus - Just for a comparison, how does the gyroscope usage in Hydroventure compare to Mario Kart 7's gyroscope steering feature? Also, what concerns me more than the standard rotation is the sections of the game where you need to spin your 3DS 360º. How prevalent are those sections (are they like 50% of the levels, or more like 10%)?
@Birdman - Sorry, I can't compare with Mario Kart 7 as I don't own it. Until now, there are more than 50% of the levels where you need to rotate your 3DS 360°.
But instead of turning the 3DS when movements required are more than 90°, I prefer to bend the 3DS forward. It's easier and more comfortable.
Got hydroventure, really fun so far, if a bit easy, though i heard it gets harder. the 360 degree levels are a revelation. the tilt controls are great.

Bought this at the EU release. I think this is the best 3DS game in using gyro controls. I usually hate games that require using gyro controls but this game uses them well. So far I am in world 2 and the game has been good to this point. At least there is a lot to do. To clear the game 100% you'll have to get 5 stars from every level and collect every puzzle piece. Nice game.
