Topic: How Do You Save Yourself from falling in Smash Bros 3DS?

In Smash Bros for the Nintendo 3DS, I see other people almost falling to their dooms, but they do some crazy move to get back up. For Palutena I think she teleports or something. I mean that. I try to jump when I almost die from falling, but I jump and then I can't jump again. Please help. What are the controls for doing the move to save you.

Press up and B at the same time.
Unless you're Ness, in which you need to direct PK Thunder into you so you can boost yourself.
