While I love the outside of the Aqua 3DS, I wanted a more traditional, uniform look for the inside of my 3DS so I added the basic black skin shown below . It got me to thinking though, have you guys modded the look of your 3DS with your own special touches to make uniquely yours? If so, please share, I'd love to see what everyone else has done. Thanks.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
No. I NEVER alter any console I have in any way that's irreversable. It destroys any potential future collector's value. Plus I enjoy keeping my consoles pure and how Nintendo intended they look. I feel like the console is tainted if it is altered. But that's just me
I can never bring myself to change hardware like that. It's the same reason why I don't like the idea of getting a tattoo - what if I don't like it down the track!
I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

That's my feeling on consoles too. The blue is so shmexy in person, I can't see wanting to alter it.
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
My problem with customizing my game systems is it lowers the value for trade-ins in the future if you can't reverse it. So no, I haven't "tricked" it out yet. I prefer to decorate my game cases.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone. I'm with you guys on the irreversible alteration of consoles, especially new ones like this. I used the basic black, glossy, solid-state skin from Decal Girl. They work really well, look great, are simple to place and, most importantly, come off without easily leaving any residue whatsoever. The aqua looks great, but with the black highlights it looks even better....I just couldn't help myself (@Corbs: Your 3DS is really collecting dust? Wow. @Sylverstone: I'm with you on the money-printer DS though!!)
I haven't even touched it in weeks, let alone tricked it out. I did add a nice layer of dust on it. LOL
For shame

For some reason, everyone seems to like Aqua Blue better, but I already have a blue DSi XL, and I don't like how the inside of the Aqua Blue 3DS is 2 colors, it looks weird. Also I like both the inside and outside of my system to be the same color, that's why I got cosmo black because it's all one color. The black doesn't look plain at all IMO it has tiny sparkles if you look carefully:)
If the 3DS has not been discontinued SM3DL and MK7 are awesome games, but if the 3DS has been discontinued Sony has taken over the world. It is not true that both Sony has taken over the world and SM3DL and MK7 are not awesome games. Therefore:Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 are...
