Everyone that played it seemed to enjoy but not alot people played which is the problem, even when i posted in the old STEAM thread people would see the thread and just post about it's a flop. From when it was announced you could tell it was gonna have problems as it was a mish-mash of too many thing, sort of shooter but not really, sort of a trpg but not really, sort of comic book but not really etc so shooter, comic, trpg etc fans weren't keen on it despite it being for them.
In retrospect, I'm actually surprised it didn't sell. You'd think a hybrid of two of the most overused genres in the industry would sell like hotcakes.
But yeah, the game looked as boring as watching paint dry.
Shame, it had such great potential. I admit you gotta be in love with turn-based games to want to play it. It hasn't got the appeal of say XCom or Advance Wars but it's still a joy to play in bursts.
It's a good game in my opinion. Gets increasingly challenging but rewarding as you unlock more characters and the enemies and maps change. Kinda an iffy story and meh controls but I think the good outweighs the bad, even though there is a significant amount of bad. Shame it didn't catch on.
I got it on sale, and just as I suspected, I hated it. I just didn't like the aesthetic at all. Not even my Fire Emblem amiibo could save the game for me, and I love Fire Emblem.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
Got it but not taken out of the wrapper yet. Got it cos it was going cheap rather than any great wish to play it. Should probably have launched at a lower price to build interest and hype.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
I love Fire Emblem Awakening made by the same team, but i just didn't like this game at all. Everything from the Steampunk look and feel of the game, down to the story, i found it really boring to play.
