Hey guys, I had a 3DS XL which decided to break on me the other week, it was the problem where it pops and turns off (something about a cable inside broken or something)

Now I had exchanged it for a New 3DS XL (New style) and I am struggling where to find to download the digital games that I had purchased.

I have signed up to nintendo as I get email from them here and there, and I was also on the reward site where you had stars etc.

I had Zelda - A Link Between Worlds (Which I want to play now lol) and Mario from the gameboy.

Could anyone guide me through how you get to access these again as I cannot find anywhere to login

Thanks

Did you perform a System Transfer to the new 3DS? If you did, you should be able to just go into the eShop, search for the games, and re-download them, as I believe your NNID (Nintendo Network ID) transfers over.

If not, you'll need to call Nintendo and have them transfer your purchase history to the new 3DS. They'll ask you to verify some information, your email, things you've downloaded, maybe date of birth, etc.

But yeah if you still have your old 3DS, the System Transfer is the easier option.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

I couldn't transfer as the system was pretty much dead. I pressed the power button and it popped and died...

Also, I have taken it back into game and exchanged it for a NEW 3DS lol

and finally (sorry) I have tried calling nintendo uk and I am only getting a busy tone... going to have to keep on trying, is it possible to transfer them over then?

I'm pretty sure there is no way for you (without Nintendo's help) to transfer from a dead 3DS.

Yeah I figured that.

I've been calling Nintendo for a few hours but only get a busy tone. Is that normal?

So how did it go?

I managed to get it sorted not long after my last post lol.

I called support and managed to get through about 5 mins before they shut the lines, the guy sent me a form to fill in.

Basic security info to make sure I own the account. And within 24 hours they reset it so that I could put my new ds on there and re download my games.

Makes me happy I can play zelda again

Nice.
Good to hear it went smooth. Enjoy your Zelda.
